We had an amazing day on the beach with my mom the next day. Once the kids were sufficiently waterlogged my mom took them inside so they could change.

Jon had to stay back at the hotel to e-mail some numbers and figures to Jim, but, said he'd get there as soon as he could. As I stepped out from rinsing the salt water off me and went into the bedroom mom had me put my stuff in to change. I couldn't help but smile. 5 hours later, As I awoke from what I thought was a short nap, It was then that I spotted a familiar dress hanging in the closet it was the pretty sundress I had worn to a beach party themed dance my senior year of high school. Jon ended up going with me (as a favor to a friend) since my date backed out at the last minute.

"I wonder if it still fits?" I thought as I took it off the hanger. I was speechless when I put it on and it fit me great-a little more figure flattering and form fitting then it had been in high school, but, it fit. I pulled my damp hair back and dabbed on little eye shadow, mascara and lip gloss.

I went downstairs, and the house was quiet- the doorbell ringing startled me and I quickly went over to answer the door. I smiled when I saw Jon standing there.

"Excuse me beautiful, have you seen my wife around here anywhere?" he chuckled giving me an incredibly sexy smile that made my knees weak.

"you look amazing!" he said kissing me ever so softly "that dress looks even better on you now than it did in high school."

I blushed and gave him a playful swat on the arm. "I'm serious" "all those curves-and me with no brakes." he said seductively.

"I'll deal with you later" I said my face hot. "lets go outside."

As we made our way around the corner, I stopped suddenly as Jon gasped. My mother had set us up!! We were stunned to see a white tent set up on the beach and underneath it about a dozen or so white chairs.

The girls all had on matching sundresses. The boys outfits matched the sundresses. We must have stood there with our mouths open for several minutes before my mom walked over and said "are you just going to stand there or are you going to come join us?"

As we got closer to the tent we were even more surprised to see that the chairs were occupied by only our closest friends- Jordan, Evie, Katie, Mariah, Chloe and Rick. We were a little more surprised to see Danny and Joe there. And sitting near the back was Jake and his wife Robyn which I admit made me a little nervous--Jon too I saw it in his eyes.

Jon and I walked over and talked to Danny and Joe--It had been several years since he had seen them.. not since the group split. " no hard feelings" they told Jon as they hugged him.

"Where's D?" he asked looking around- it was his attitude about Jon's anxiety issues that resulted in Jon leaving the group.

"We haven't seen him." Joe said.

"Mom, what is all this?" i asked her quietly. "Just my way of saying 'I'm sorry' " she replied. "I thought a party for your closest friends, your new friends and your family on the beach would be really nice for you.."

We had a really good time and laughed and talked until it started to get dark. Jon and I excused ourselves and walked along the shore as the sun began to set-- it was so beautiful!

"this would be the perfect spot to renew our vows" Jon said softly wrapping his arms around me from behind

"too bad we've done that already." I sighed.

"doesn't mean we can't do it again" he smiled. "who could we even get to do it on short notice?" I said sorta jokingly.

"I'll do it" a voice behind us said quietly. We spun around and came face to face with Donnie!

He and Jon just stood in complete silence, staring at each other for what seemed like an eternity. Everyone else came down to where we were in an attempt to diffuse the situation before it started.

"Its been a LONG time Donnie" Jon said.

"It sure has" Donnie said nodding "too long." "I was young, immature, and stupid then." he said. "I've grown up a lot." he added.

"how can you marry us?" I asked as they continued to stare at each other.

"one of the wardrobe gals on my last movie's fiance thought it would be cool to have me marry them since he was a fan of my movies, and she was a fan of me back in the day." he replied. "so, the producer helped me get ordained online."

"Its ok with me" I told him. Jon said nothing at first and then I slowly saw a smile creep across his face as he extended his hand to his former bandmate. "I'm ok with it D" he said as they shared a hug and a handshake.

As we stood there with our family and friends and renewed our vows, I couldn't help but think about how perfect the setting was. We kissed just as the firey orange sun slipped into the ocean as everyone released butterflies into the air.

I walked over and talked to Mariah, Chloe, and Rick while Jon, Donnie and the guys caught up a little.

"That was so beautiful!" Chloe gushed "and totally romantic!"

"I hope I'm that lucky someday" Mariah said.

"I'm sure you will find some one who will love you like crazy someday--both of you" I said smiling at her and Chloe.

As we talked with Rick, I saw the guys walk over out of the corner of my eye. Robyn and Jake came over and talked to us for a few min and then said their goodbyes.

My mom took the kids inside and got them settled in for the night as the 9 of us made a bonfire and sat and talked on the beach. It was almost 11pm when we called it a night as It was getting chilly even with the fire.

We made sure the fire was completely out and walked our friends and family to their cars and watched them leave. Donnie and Jon exchanged phone numbers before he left.

We crept quietly into my mom's house so as not to wake her and the kids. To our surprise, my mom was still up watching tv.

"Thank you for everything today" I said hugging my mom "it was perfect."

"we'll never forget it" Jon said as he leaned over and hugged her.

We went upstairs and peeked in on the kids and then headed to bed ourselves. Jon carried me into the bedroom and shut the light off as he pushed the door shut with his foot.

He laid me down on the bed and softly traced his fingers along my cheek and jaw as he looked at me lovingly.

"I Love you more than you'll ever know Mrs. Knight"

"I love you too" I said as we shared a long slow kiss and held each other as we drifted off to sleep.
