I locked the door after Jordan left, and Jon and I just sat and looked at each other-quite frankly, I was feeling no bigger than a speck of dirt.

I sat down on the opposite end of the couch from Jon and told him how deeply sorry I was and that I hoped he could find it in his heart to forgive me.

"I don't know Chrissy" he said "you accused me of not taking the vows I made to you seriously and of being unfaithful to you." "That really hurt me- it was like being stabbed in the heart."

"And then to fly off the handle and threaten to take those 4 precious little girls away from me and tell me you'd make sure I'd never see them again? That was a real low blow." he said.

With things starting to come out in the open, he sat there and calmly explained to me about the whackjob and how long she had been following him- how he spotted her watching us at the park with the kids right before everything started going south for us.

"I finally realized she wasn't going away and a restraining order was for the best--I didn't want to get hurt, but more importantly I didn't want her to hurt you or the girls."

We ended up sitting up and talking until nearly 2am! He left to go back to Marlene's and I went upstairs to bed it had been a long exhausting day.

I knew it was going to take time for Jon to get over what I had put him through-I just prayed he could forgive me.

Jon and I saw Dr. Wakefield a couple times a week to help us work through things- We also still had our weekly dinner dates which were becoming more and more enjoyable.

After a few weeks I was beginning to see more and more of the Jon I married -the Jon I Loved. We were successful in getting the restraining order on 'little ms looney' thanks in part to her family who didn't realize that she was seriously stuck in the late 80's/early 90's(they didn't see her often as they lived in another state) and that she kept calling me "Tiffany" --they had the poor thing committed to the state psychiatric hospital for testing and treatment. Her own father said "she is quite obviously a few mcnuggets, a bag of fries, a pop and a toy away from a happy meal!"

"Couldn't have said it better myself" Jon whispered in my ear.

Jon surprised me the next day-instead of our normal dinner date, he decided he wanted to spend the whole day with me- we went and got massages and pedicures, after that it was on to a movie and lunch--that evening he took me to a carnival that was in town where he won me a cute stuffed bear and we rode the ferris wheel.

We stopped for milkshakes on the way home- it was a wonderful day.

It was late when we got back and the house was dark- we crept quietly inside and I locked the door. "I had an amazing time today" I told Jon sleepily. "It sure was he said.

The following week, we made plans to have a picnic on the beach--too bad mother nature didn't get the memo, the weather was rainy and crappy.

"We can still have our picnic" Jon said as I headed upstairs to put my beach stuff away. When I came back down, Jon had the blanket spread out on the floor in front of the fireplace, and he had a small fire going he had also lit candles and poured us each a glass of wine, soft music was playing in the background.

"I told you we could still have our picnic" he said smiling at me.

I smiled warmly at him. Our picnic was very romantic- we made smores in the fireplace for dessert and he made sure to feed me one.
