We were awakened at 7am by Marlene so we could all shower, and then it was off to get our hair done-- I was glad we had opted to do our manicures , pedicures and facials the day before.
Allison and Sharon made sure I ate something for breakfast since they said if I didn't they would kick my butt- I really didn't want to eat as I felt like a had a colony of butterflies in my stomach. But, I ate anyway as I knew I'd need my strength and energy for the busy day ahead.
By the time we got our hair done and got to the church I was a nervous wreck! Katie, Evelyn, Sharon, and Allison all formed a human wall around me so I could get inside without being seen.
Allison did my make-up for me and then we all started getting ready--the room was without a doubt-"controlled chaos!!" once the girls were finished getting ready they helped me into my dress and Katie fastened all the buttons on the back-Evelyn helped me step into my shoes.
"Oh Chrissy!" Allison said "you look beautiful!" "Isn't Mommy Pretty?" Sharon said to Emma as she tied the bow at the back of her dress.
"Mommy petty" she said smiling.
After us ladies took a bunch of pictures downstairs we all got ready to take our places in the back of the church.
Jonathan walked his mom to her seat and then took his place by the priest Evelyn and Joe walked out first followed several beats later by Sharon and Donnie who were followed by Allison and Danny and then Katie and Jordan.
As Emma and Matty walked out I began to get very nervous. "you look like a princess" Mr. Scott told me extending his arm.
"I feel like I princess" I said as my heart began to race as the doors opened and the wedding march played. As soon as we started walking, I felt myself calm down almost instantly-it was very odd.
I could see Jon fighting back tears when he saw me coming down the aisle.
"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered her today to join this man, and this woman in in Holy Matrimony" "Who gives this woman in Holy Matrimony?" the priest asked.
"We Do" Mr. Scott and jon's family and the guys said.
"Let us pray." father said.
After the prayer came the readings followed by the gospel and the homily. Then it was time for Jon and I to exchange vows.
"Jonathan and Christina, have you come here freely, and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?"
"Yes" we replied
"Will you Honor each other as man and wife for the rest of your lives?"
"We will" we replied.
"Will you accept children lovingly from God, and bring them up according to the laws of Christ and his church?"
"We have and we will" we replied.
We then joined our right hands declaring our consent before God and his church. And said our vows.
I Jonathan , take you Christina to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer in sickness and in health, Until death do us part."

Jordan and Katie then handed father our rings.
