"I wanted to surprise you, that's why I didn't tell you I was coming." I said "it was kind of a list minute decision" I added. "I got some advice from a friend that made me make up my mind."

As we stepped back from the hug, Jon smiled and said "you really do look great, I can't remember the last time I saw you dressed up, hair down and wearing that girly goop on your face."

I just giggled. As we left the room and headed back to the dressing room area he asked me how Emma was doing. "she's fine, she definitely misses you." I said. She'll see you in a picture and smile and say "da da" it is so adorable.

"I miss her too" Jon said, "but, whether you want to believe me or not, I miss you just as much as I do her when I am on the road."

I felt the heat rising in my cheeks so I knew I was probably blushing pretty good. "It does get kinda lonely at your house when you aren't home." I admitted softly. We got to the dressing room door and Jon assured me we could continue our talk back at the hotel after the concert.

I had a blast hanging out with the guys in the dressing room before the show-Joey told me excitedly how if he kept doing well with his tutoring that he would get his high school diploma the next year.

"That is awesome news Bird" I said smiling "your family will be so proud of you as will your four 'brothers' here and me." Around 5pm Mr. Scott poked his head into the room and said that the food was ready in catering. As the guys all stood up to head down there, Jordan grumbled "I hope its not chicken again--I am getting so sick of chicken!" then he laughed.

"Quit whining and let's go eat baby brother!" Jon laughed as gave him a little smack in the back of the head. We all cracked up.

Jon and I parted ways at catering and Biscuit took me to meet up with Allison. She and I chatted and laughed as we ran across the street to grab something to eat at Dairy Queen.

The show was awesome to say the least, and I caught Jon looking at me several times and during a couple song s he held my hand a bit while singing. The girls behind us decided to get nasty because of that, and called me a lot of nasty names under their breath. Is it bad that "bitch" was the nicest name they called me? I know at least one of them referred to me as a stupid "C" word. Which Allison and I thought was totally vulgar.

Allison and I left immediately after the show , stopping to let Jon know we were heading back to the hotel.

"I'll talk to you when we get back to hotel" Jon said holding my hand for a bit and then pulling me close for a hug. I smiled and said I would talk to him later.

As soon as Allison and I got back to the hotel I called Marlene to see how Emma was doing and she told me every thing was fine and Emma was being a good girl- "Now, just relax and enjoy your vacation!" she admonished me playfully. I told Allison and she laughed "that's my mom."

Allison left after a few minutes and told me "If you are totally uncomfortable with your roommate, don't even hesitate, just call my room and I will come and get you and your things and you can room with me."

"I'll keep that in mind." I assured her as I closed and locked the door behind her.

I grabbed my journal from my bag and settled in at the table to write, a few minutes later I nearly jumped out of my skin as I heard the door unlock and the knob turn!

My hand trembled as I continued to write--and pray. When I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Sorry, it took me so long to get back here, the other guys were being slowpokes."

I felt a smile on my face as I recognized the voice--that little stinker Jordan had had my things put in Jon's room!

"Thanks for scaring the bejeezus out of me when you came in!" I said laughing as I closed my journal and put it in my bag.
