Chapter (15):

The next morning, Madeline and Eva were ready and waiting for Wren in the park, warming up before jogging.

"Where have you been last night?"

"Umm... I was with Wren. We hung out after work"

"You realize that you are dating her brother, right?"

"Yes Eva, I'm aware of that. We are just friends and you like her too so..."

"Okay, but I have a question... Do you have feelings for her?"

Her eyes widened. "No. No, why would you ask me that? Even though you asked me probably the same question more than once"

"Because... every time we bring up the subject about her, you smile and talk about her a lot... unlike Dave"

"She is interesting and don't worry I'm happy with Dave, he is taking me out tomorrow for diner"

"See? You don't talk about him a lot as you do with-"

"With who?"

They turned around and found Wren unplugging her earphones, they hoped she didn't know what they were talking about.

"Hi Wren" said Eva waving enthusiastically.

"Hey you" she said kindly and turned her eyes on Madeline. "Ready?"

"Yes, let's go"

The three started jogging together keeping up the pace and talking with each other and Eva started asking Wren questions.

"So Wren... Do you have a girlfriend?" asked Eva.

"... No, not currently"

"Did you have one before?" Madeline pushed Eva lightly. "Ow!!"

"I did actually, I had two, one in high school and the other was in college"

"Mm-hmm. I have one more question"

"Go ahead"

She said getting ready for what Eva might ask. She liked Eva despite that questions, she found her fun to be with, luckily for Madeline she has someone like her to change her mood.

"Favorite position; top or bottom? Because Madeline here is a bottom" She pointed her thumb at her friend and Madeline stopped in her tracks feeling embarrassed and her face became crimson red.

"Eva!!" said Madeline glaring at her and Wren looked at them and smirked trying to be more charismatic.

"Although your question is weird, I'll let you guess" She left them curious and went jogging and Eva turned to Madeline who was silent.

"Eva, you can't ask such thing, what the hell is wrong with you?"

"What? I was feeling curious and I'm sure you too want to know. In my opinion she is a top"

"Ugh, I'm gonna go after her to fix this"

"I think I'll go home now; I feel exhausted from all that running"

"But you only ran for like 10 minutes"

"Which is enough for me. I'm heading home, bye"

"Bye then"

She went after Wren wanting to apologize about her friend's inappropriate question.

"Hey, sorry about Eva she can be a little-"

"Funny? Don't worry about it" She brushed it off.

"No, I mean it. She was so rude to you"

"Madeline" She stopped and put her hands on her shoulder. "It's okay, I wasn't offended or anything. I'm used to that kind of questions, believe me people asked me worse things than who is a top and who is a bottom, so chill, okay?"
