Chapter (16):

Wren went to her home after spending the day with Emily, she enjoyed being with her, she is smart and clever and has one hell of an eagle eye that notices everything going on whenever you go. Her cell phone rang while she was having lunch.

"Hey, Dave"

"Hey"

"What's up?"

"I have been thinking about something but I don't know what you might think"

"Tell me"

"It's about Henry, his associates are offering your company a deal, looking forward to investing in your company, what do you think about it?"

She sighed closing her eyes. "I-I don't know. I'll think about it"

"It's gonna make your company grow even more. Henry's associates are perfect"

"Look, Dave this is good news but I have to think about it first"

"Wren, don't let the argument between you and your father stop you from making this decision"

"I'll see what can I do"

"Okay, good. I have something else to tell you, it is more of a suggestion. Would like to go on a date with me and Madeline tomorrow, it will be a couple's date, you can bring Monique"

"A couple's date? You know, me and Monique broke up and she is in Milan"

"You can bring someone else" She sighed. "C'mon do it for me, I want to hang out with you"

She thought for a moment imagining what would it be like if she saw Dave and Madeline together holding hands under the table, or kissing or whispering sweet things and she would feel fire in her heart and soul seeing Madeline with someone else but maybe she could try and let the feeling go by accepting the fact that Madeline is with Dave.

"Fine, I'll go but I'll bring someone else not Monique"

"Okay, even better. See you tomorrow at 6:00" He hung up the phone leaving her lost in her thoughts. She dialed Emily informing her about the plans for tomorrow night and she agreed to do it for Wren who was in this position. She lost her appetite and pushed the plate a little far from her, standing up and went to read something to distract her from the pain she was feeling.

Here comes the day of the date, Madeline woke up feeling refreshed after her date with Dave the night before and ready for going out with him again today but she doesn't know what she would see. She jumped out of the bed and took off her PJs heading to the shower. She started humming and singing as the soap ran her body following it the warm water. She went to her laptop reading some article and the doorbell rang, she went to open it.

"Hola, Amiga" said Eva hugging her tightly and Paul was standing smiling at the scene in front of him.

"Hey, Maddie" said Paul stepping in, giving her a kiss on her cheek.

"Hey guys, come on in" She opened the door for them.

They went to the living room sitting on the couch.

"How are you guys? Tell me everything Paul, how is work?"

"Fine actually, we are going to the top. People come these days asking for flowers and roses for fancy parties... and fashion shows"

"Yeah, his business is growing, thanks to your boss"

"Wren?"

"Yeah, she really liked what I did an The Cobb Galleria Center and the other shows too. She told them about me"
