Chapter (32):

At night, in the hospital, Wren was leaning her back against the headboard, her eyes were fixed on the ceiling feeling empty hearted, she felt her heart turned white instead of red form the emptiness. She was afraid her heart will be locked for a long time, she loved the way Madeline made her feel, even the heartbeat on the monitor doesn't indicate how she felt for her. Now she is feeling hollow, a shaped heart without a form.

As for Madeline, she was feeling the same except that her heart felt wounded form the pain she caused for Wren, seeing her on the hospital bed, seeing her fighting for her life and seeing her alive. Luckily for her, Eva was spending the night with her.

"So, is it over?" asked Eva concerned about her friend.

"... Yes, it's over. Maybe it's for the best"

"You told your dad about loving someone else, you quit your job... what's gonna be next?"

She shrugged. "I don't know but I'll have to find something to keep me occupied"

She held her hand in support. "How did she take it?"

"... She didn't say anything" She looked down.

"Finally! I'm going home!" said Wren as today, she was getting ready to leave the hospital. Both Emily and Monique were there helping her to check out. Wren was getting dressed and the door knocked, revealing both of them smiling at a happy Wren. "What are you two looking at?" She looked back and forth between them.

"Nothing" said Monique smiling.

"We are just happy you are okay" said Emily.

"Thanks guys" They went up to her and hugged her, they pulled away.

"Ready?" asked Monique.

"Mm-hmm" She nodded.

They got in Monique's car and drove off the road, heading to her home. She wanted to go to work but they accused her of being insane and she laughed at them.

"Here we are" said Monique.

They stepped out of the car and opened the door for her.

"I know how to open my door; you know"

"Shut up!" said Emily nudging her in the ribs.

"We are here to help you" said Monique.

They entered the house and the first thing they did was getting rid of all the liquor in her house, she tried to protest but they silenced her.

"Now sit!" said Monique.

"Huh?"

"I said sit" repeated Monique and Wren obliged with a look of fear on her face. Monique went to the kitchen and handed Wren a glass of water.

"I could get my own glass of water; you know" She remarked again like earlier.

"And I told you we are helping you"

"More like babysitting me" She crossed her arms.

"Exactly" said Emily laughing. "So you will have to do what we say or we will have to tie you with ropes!" She warned her.

"Oh, I'd like to see where that is going" She smirked at both of them.

"Perv!" they replied in unison.

"You guys asked for it" She chuckled. "So, how long are you guys staying here with me?"

"For a while" replied Monique.
