If someone came up to you two years ago and told you you'd lead a resistance against the most dangerous villains Gotham has ever seen, you'd probably tell them to stop fucking with you. And yet here you were, a senior Gotham Academy student having a meeting underneath your school that has been turned into a secret base for the resistance.

"So what are the updates?" You asked, your hands resting on the table as you looked at your fellow members. Some of them were teenagers like you, and some were ex-marines, soldiers, police officers and many more.

"Well, what happened this past week was that Red Hood has murdered 4 more people."

You ran a hand through your hair, grabbing the ends in frustration, "Fuck," you whispered quietly as you turned from your team to think of a plan. "Alright, this is what we'll do. We'll divide ourselves into 6 teams and keep an eye on Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin and Black Bat. If they do anything suspicious call everyone and we'll meet you here at the base," you looked at the resistance. "Sound good?" They all agreed and after dividing everyone into teams you and your team went after Red Hood.

You've been told that things weren't always like this, weren't always this broken. It all began when Batman's or Bruce Wayne's, as he used to be called, parents were murdered. He swore to avenge his parents deaths and after finding the killer responsible for ruining his life he killed him in cold blood. After that he has been using his status and wealth to become Batman, a power driven dictator no one dared to stand up to. He has also adopted numerous children, who have all turned villainous at some point.

The first adopted son, Richard 'Dick' Grayson, now known as Nightwing, was a little shred of hope for the citizens of Gotham because hey Bruce Wayne just adopted an orphaned boy maybe he's turning on a new page in his life, but alas it was not like that. Bruce took Dick under his wing and trained him to be Robin, another child seeking revenge for his parents death and after he got it he remained the manipulative person the citizens know today. There is not a thing Nightwing can't get with a bit of flattery at first, yet all his flattery has some hidden agendas to it and soon enough you're either flattered to do his bidding and when that doesn't work he guilt trips you and bullies you into doing it.

The second adopted son was Jason Todd. Red Hood. He, much like Dick, was an orphan, but he was living alone on the streets. Batman also took him under his wing and boom, another Robin was born. He went out of his way to find his biological mother, only to be tricked by her and beaten to a deadly pulp by Joker, a villain who was trying to eliminate Batman to become the most feared and dangerous criminal in Gotham, although his troubles never worked out. Joker locked Jason in a warehouse filled with explosives and blew it up, with Jason inside. The Wayne's didn't try to cover up his death but have vowed to do anything to bring him back. Which is how, a few years later, Jason was brought back to life by Talia al Ghul and Ra's al Ghul, partners of Batman who had full control over the Lazarus Pit. Ever since then Red Hood turned into a merciless serial killer who killed when he pleased.
