Although Ci Nada was vexed by the fact that her initial plan was ruined, she also felt exhilarated at the prospect of improvising.
Her creativity was one of her greatest assets both when she was part of the light side of the island and when she transitioned into who she was at that very moment. No matter which shade of color her soul took, the spark of creativity was always part of who she was.
Hm, let me start with Ignacio. I never liked the guy. He reminds me too much of the human who made me suffer, who made me who I am today. They are both handsome and confident men, but I know what hides behind the pleasant exterior.
Now, what would be the worst possible thing for him? Killing Amber and torturing both of them is so old-fashioned and boring, so that's out of question. What else does he fear? Oh, I have a great idea! Ci Nada thought.
"Very well, I shall change the rules of the game to fit the new participant. Let's call the new game Know Ignacio's Dark Side. In this fun game, we will learn all there is to know about Ignacio." Ci Nada said.
Ignacio's horror-stricken expression gave her immense pleasure since, in her mind, he deserved it. All of them deserved to suffer the pain and the fear for the mere fact that they were the vile creatures that they were, for being a part of the race who shattered her soul into million pieces.
"You can't know everything about me! It's impossible! No one is that powerful!" Ignacio said.
"You forget one important thing, you pretentious human! We are in your head! I can sift through all your memories and show her whatever I feel like showing her." Ci Nada said.
Both Ignacio and Amber were shocked by the revelation for different reasons. Still, it was obvious that neither of them was aware of what was going on.
Amber was flabbergasted that she had somehow managed to enter Ignacio's mind. It went to show her how strong the connection they had truly was. However, at the same time, she was terrified. She couldn't help but wonder what was happening to her own mind or body if she was no longer there.
Another thing that frightened her was what she would learn about Ignacio by being inside of his mind. She was pretty sure that nothing he did or felt would make her stop loving him. That scared the living daylights out of her. What if he had done some terrible things, unforgivable things, and she was still able to forgive him?
What kind of person would that make her? Would it make her a monster or just someone who had finally found true love?
As for Ignacio, the amount of horror he felt at the prospect of Amber learning his darkest secrets was indescribable. He didn't see himself as a bad person, but there were things he did that he was not proud of.
So, the idea of an evil fairy digging through his mind and revealing all those things to Amber was appalling. It was unimaginable to have her face all of his demons before they had even started properly dating. He was planning on telling her everything, but it was supposed to be a slow process that would help her adjust and not shock her the way Ci Nada had in mind.
"Aww, you didn't know! How cute your naivety is!" Ci Nada said in a mocking voice.
"Let us see," Ci Nada said with a look of deep concentration.
"Where to start? There are so many terrible things! What would appall our dear Amber?" Ci Nada wondered out loud.
That was the moment Ignacio's initial shock wore off and he decided to use his powers to drive Ci Nada out of his mind. However, something was wrong. His powers weren't working. He couldn't find a way to reach them, no matter how hard he tried.
"I am guessing, from the silly look on your face, that you are trying to use your useful little tricks. Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, but you can't use them." Ci Nada said.
"What do you mean we can't use them?" Amber asked trying to channel fire into her hands.
"Hadn't your parents ever taught you never to take candy or food from strangers? Your delicious meal had a few extra ingredients that you were unaware of, such as a power stopping potion, and sleep powder. I don't make the same mistakes twice, I made sure to cover all the eventualities." Ci Nada said.
"Why are you doing this!? What have we ever done to you!?" Amber asked.
"You exist! You continue to exist, and with your lowly existence remind me of the worst days of my life. Isn't that reason enough?!" Ci Nada said.
Before Amber had the chance to say anything else, to reason with the fairy who was clearly in a lot of pain, Ignacio charged towards Ci Nada. It was the stupidest action ever, and Amber couldn't help but shake her head in disapproval.
Of course, having her powers, Ci Nada was able to avoid the assault with ease and grace. The only thing the attack accomplished was making her mad. The hatred and pain in her eyes were so sharp that it felt to Amber as if they could cut through ice.
Amber wanted to apologize for Ignacio's stupidity, to plead for mercy, but it was already too late. In a blink of an eye, they were both gagged and seated on uncomfortable chairs. They were firmly tied to them, and the only parts of their bodies that they could move were their eyes.
"I was trying to be nice about it and this is how you repay me!? All right, then we'll do this the hard way. You will sit there and watch all the horrible things Ignacio had done in silence." Ci Nada said.
As she said that, a huge screen appeared out of nowhere facing Amber and Ignacio. Still, the dark fairy didn't seem satisfied. She kept muttering to herself, trying to find the one element that was missing, one little thing that would make the moment perfect for her.
"No, no, no. I have a better idea! You will sit facing Amber while she watches the worst of you so that you can see her reactions. Besides, not knowing will make it even worse for you since you won't be able to tell what she is reacting to or if your worst secrets had come out. Also, that way, her disgust and hopefully hatred will be clear for you to see. After all, a hurt woman's face is like an open book." Ci Nada said.
As she said that, she waved her hands in the air and set the scene. It was as if she was staging a scene in a theater to make it even more dramatic for the audience. In this case, it was an audience of one, but that didn't make Ci Nada less of a perfectionist.
That was when the compilation of videos that showed the worst of Ignacio finally started to Ci Nada's utter delight. It gave her immense pleasure to see that even the people whom the side of light considered good had a lot of dark secrets hiding in the deepest recesses of their souls. It made her own mistakes and sufferings seem better when she was able to see the dark side of good.
