Amber and Jade's path
When the queen told them to go, for a moment they just stood to wonder what the future holds. "Oh, one more thing, "the queen said "the magic dust will not start running out until you tap into it for the first time. The first time you tap into it, it will start acting similar to those batteries you humans use, so use the magic wisely. It should be used only when you have to." "Very well, we will remember that," Ignacio said. "Royce we should go!" But still, they stood there awkwardly. "So girls, see you around," Ignacio said his eyes lingering on Amber for a second longer, and then he winked flirtatiously at her. "Be careful, "Royce added and seemed to regret it immediately. He felt that by saying it he showed his weakness and that is not what guys should do. "We will," Jade replied with some strange emotion in her voice. "See you!" Amber said confidently, more sure of the queen's words than the others. So finally they shook hands awkwardly and went their separate ways. Even though the girls and the guys had known each other for a short time they still felt uneasy having to separate. They weren't sure why, but they felt connected to each other, maybe it was because they seemed to be the only humans on the island but maybe it was something else.
The queen guided the girls quietly without giving any other information to them, without even making small talk. On the other hand, Pip guided the guys, and they could hear him chattering excitedly even after they separated. The queen didn't seem to be too happy about his behaviour, but she made no comments about it. After showing them the right way the queen went back to the village and Jade and Amber went on. Soon they noticed the sign that said Fairy Forest of Ry. The forest looked as if someone was practicing their painting skills on it. The trees were of all the possible colors and their different shades. It all resembled the most colorful rainbow that one's eyes have ever seen. While walking through the forest they kept jumping at every unfamiliar sound even though the queen assured them they would be safe. After all, they spent their lives in the world where danger was lurking around every corner, so they couldn't just relax and not worry. What made that even more difficult was the fact that they weren't used to walking through the forest especially such a strange one. Who knew what was hiding in the tree branches or in the nearby bushes. Although they didn't like the fact that they were so anxious, they didn't stop being cautious until they left the forest behind them.
A few feet after the forest ended there was the most wonderful little river. It was filled with life both familiar and foreign to the girls. They were both fascinated by its beauty and energy. Standing on its bank, they could feel the energy and strength coming from it. It felt as if the river was a being that could feel and think and not only run its course. The water itself was pure and transparent, and they were sure it had never been touched by a human hand. They knew that in their hearts because humans rarely left any natural beauty unblemished. Amber remembered the caves she visited during the cruise and how humans tried to reshape them so that the caves would suit them better. But the river, no human had ever been there or tried to change it. It still held its natural magnificence. There was no rubbish, no garbage nothing to mare its beauty. No one tried to change or reshape it into something that it wasn't. It was just the way it should be, natural and free like all people secretly wished to be. When they looked to their left, they became mesmerized by what they saw.
There was an enormous waterfall crushing loudly and powerfully into the river. It seemed as they were sharing a common language that was unknown to a simple passerby. Unknown to a simple person who knows nothing about the enchanting island like the one they were on. It was a pure symbiosis of life, energy and strangely enough soothing joy. They could feel the refreshing smell of cold water running by, following its own path as they followed theirs. When they started wondering how they would ever cross that strong and lively river, the water suddenly parted in two enabling their crossing. It felt as if the river could read their minds and was eager to help. After they passed the river, they thought they saw a hand made of water waving goodbye. Amazed as they were they had to go on. They had no other choice but to go on, to see all that could be seen, to feel all that could be felt. When they crossed the river, they found themselves in a most beautiful meadow they had ever seen. The compulsion to go on was so strong that they barely had the time to stop for fresh water and to eat the food.
