'The Rain'

"It's been a while, my Lady." I felt warm after hearing his voice but it sounded different. Because it used to sound like a muffled 'm'Lady', but now, he pronounced it entirely different. Inalis ko nalang iyon sa isip ko at humakbang palayo noong pinaatras niya ako.

Pinagpag naman ni Lucas ang damit niya.

"Back off." Mahinang sabi ni Lucas pero narinig kong napabuga ng hangin si Blu at mahinang natawa.

"Please refrain from doing anything. I really don't want to use force." Nakangiting sabi ni Blu at umayos na ako ng tayo tsaka kinalma ang sarili ko. Lucas scoffed, not believing how Blu can smile in a situation like this.

"I said, back off!" sigaw ni Lucas at nanlaki ang mga mata ko noong iginalaw niya ang mga kamay niya. Freezing spell. "Blu, watch ou—" Natigilan agad ako noong pasimpleng itinaas ni Blu ang kamay niya at para niyang sinalo ang freezing spell. He then flicked it away from his hand as if it was some dirt at ngumiti.

"Again, please refrain from doing anything. This garden is too beautiful to ruin." Nakangiti paring sabi ni Blu kaya nakita kong mas lalong nainis si Lucas.

"My lady, kindly take three steps backward, please. I think he's about to use force." Mahinahong sabi sa akin ni Blu kaya hindi ko alam kung kakabahan ba ako na mapapaaway siya o ano. It's just that he was smiling all the time habang parang sasabog na si Lucas sa galit.

Tumango ako at umatras habang nakatingin parin ako sa kanya.

"Thank you, my Lady. Now, can you close your eyes for a minute?" aniya at agad ko namang sinunod.

"Men are born to take care of girls, not make them cry." Rinig kong sabi ni Blu at kasunod noon ay ang kalabog doon sa dulo ng greenhouse.

"I was removed from her memory, but did I ever complain?" tanong ulit ni Blu. I don't know but I think he heard Lucas whining over how I could not remember him. Was Lucas part of my removed memories? Have we met before?

Kaya ba ang sungit niya dahil hindi ko siya kilala?

"Did I ever make her cry?" tanong ulit ni Blu at narinig ko ang pagbagsak ng isang bagay. Hindi ko na alam ang mga nangyayari. All I could hear now was Lucas' frustrated groan and the way Blu questioned him was anew to me.

"If you knew her condition but you still made her cry from your useless whining, then I'm not going to be nice to you anymore." Iyon ang huli kong narinig mula kay Blu at puro kalabog na ang sumunod doon. I stood there, eyes closed, and pathetically waiting for this to stop.

It flashed back to me how Blu flicked the freezing spell away and I remembered that Lucas was just a half-blood vampire.

"Blu? That's enough. Please.." Nakapikit kong sambit at doon ko na narinig na tumigil ang kalabog sa paligid.

Napasinghap ako noong maramdaman kong may humawak sa balikat ko. "As you wish, my Lady." Matapos kong marinig ang boses ni Blu sa harap ko ay dahan-dahan ko nang minulat ang mga mata ko. Bumungad sa akin si Blu na medyo magulo na ang polo at buhok niya.
