For Inktober day 1 and 2 (prompts Ring and Mindless) I decided to draw Klopp dreaming of Alisson back in goal in the style of Dreadfully Drawn's caricatures. I heard someone say footballers are mindless because of how they give interviews in metaphors so Klopp has a football for a brain.
After enjoying Bayern Munich destroy Spurs things were bound to go wrong, luckily they still didn't go quite wrong enough. That was a strange one. Another remarkable European night as Anfield marked a European Cup centenary.
Great start for the Reds! Mane picked the ball up on the left flank and advanced towards the box before playing a delightful one-two with Firmino and slotting calmly home, right in front of the away end and it was clear he didn't want to over-celebrate. The rest of Anfield will though!
The second was a neat finish at the near post following a slick move - which Robbo himself started - and pinpoint Alexander-Arnold. The Reds are in command! How happy were they?!
Andrew Robertson is the first Scotsman to score for Liverpool in UEFA European competition since Gary McAllister scored against Alavés in the 2001 UEFA Cup final.
Salah has gone through and slammed a half-volley just wide of the right-hand post. Liverpool will get a third here, it's just a matter of time.
An easy finish for Salah after Stankovic spilled Firmino's deft header from Mane's cross makes three goals.
After the best football from Liverpool comes the sloppy. Salzburg got a goal! Hwang cut in from the left - sitting down on his backside none other than Virgil Van Dijk - and fair smashed it past Adrian from 15 yards.
Minamino with another goal. Liverpool needed to wake up here, quickly.
It's 3-3 as Haaland taps in at the back post. It couldn't have been easier for him.
James Milner introduced for Jordan Henderson.
Origi on for Wijnaldum as Liverpool switch to 4-2-3-1.
The fourth for Liverpool was a sharp finish from Salah latching onto Firmino's nod down and firing high into the roof of the net!
There was very nearly a carbon copy of THAT Trent corner v Barcelona. Mane snuck free at the near post as Salzburg were caught napping with goalkeeping Stankovic in no man's land.
Keita replaced Mo Salah. Three minutes added on.
It ended with a pitch invader!
Happy birthday to our brilliant Brazilian duo, Bobby and Alisson, how's three points for a birthday present.
Next up Leicester at home, Saturday 5th October 2019, 15:00.
During the match dad said we can't play like this against Leicester and I didn't know who they were cos they're not a CL team so they don't exist tonight or something.
