So the transfer window in Britain slammed shut yesterday. It's time to take stock of the squad. Don't scroll down too fast to find the big exciting names because it's all about the young ones!
Goodbyes
Daniel Sturridge (released) currently a free agent.
We're all gonna miss you, your goals and the dance that followed it. He's misunderstood, probably because he's out injured so much but what a player. Someone
I knew he was going but I still got sad and then his dog went missing and I probably thought about him more than I had throughout his time in red.
Alberto Moreno (released) to Villareal.
Even though I didn't want him anywhere near the pitch by the end I'm gonna miss him, the players already do. I knew he was going to leave but I wasn't expecting how I felt when I did.
Simon Mignolet to Club Brugge.
I managed to avoid finding out about this one for half a day, avoiding Twitter after the Community Shield - I wish they'd brought him on for the penalties. His six years with us came to an end and he's already won a Champions League game.
He's made Jordan Henderson the last man standing of the 2013/14 season. We are gonna miss all of his professionalism, support of the team and experience.
Sturridge, Mignolet and Moreno all put out messages that made me wish they didn't have to leave but I hope they get to do well in their new roles and I am glad they got to go out on a high as champions of Europe.
Danny Ings to Southampton.
I think I was most sad about his move being made permanent because I'd refused to accept it was a loan to buy deal. His chances were missed with big injuries. I guess we had to give back to Southampton at some point after buying so many from them.
Rafa Camacho to Sporting CP.
Adam Bogdan (released) currently a free agent.
Connor Randall (released) currently a free agent.
George Johnston to Feyenoord.
Dirk Kuyt got him on recommendation.
Bobby Adekanye (released) to Lazio.Patrik Raitanen (released) to Fortuna Sittard.
Conor Masterson (released) to QPR
Edvard Tagseth (released) currently a free agent.
Juanma (released) currently a free agent.
Glen McAuley (released) to St. Patrick's Athletic.
Corey Whelan (released) to Phoenix Rising FC

Sepp Van Den Berg from PEC Zwolle.
One ginger went out (Bogdan), one ginger came in. He's so tall, he's already taller than Klopp!
Every time my dad asked if we'd signed anyone or moaned about the lack of transfers I excitedly said "We've got Sepp!" I don't know why but I'm excited about him.
Harvey Elliott from Fulham.
This one was a bit odd everyone was saying it was definite and it took about two more weeks for it to be official. He had some exciting moments in preseason and already scored for the under 21s.
Adrian from West Ham.
New second keeper.
I think we all really overestimated what being champions of Europe means for bringing in players. We can't get a whole new back up team. It seems strange to bring no senior (except the keeper) in but I don't want to rock the boat especially not with bringing Coutinho back, it's not going to happen.
Squad number changes
Alisson Becker is number 1!
Adrian, the new 13.
Alex Oxlade Chamberlain inherited 15 and won the hiphop quiz, doing Sturridge proud.
Brewster, 24.
Harvey Elliott, 67.
Sepp Van Den Berg, 72.
The first game of the premier League Season starts soon, If they make a big thing of touching the this is Anfield sign I might cry. I've been waiting for it all summer and I'm sad that Sturridge, Mignolet and even Moreno missed out. I've been waiting for a video where they're marched up to it and they all have their moment but it never happened probably cos that's lame and they've had no time for that.
