6. I Would Love The Sight Of That.

Today was hectic. What Hayes told me, completely shocked me.

I was glad to be home now. Walking inside, I dropped my book bag, not caring about homework.

"Honey, how was school." My mom asked. Oh look. She's home.

"Okay, usual. How come you're home?" I asked sounding interested.

"They let me off early today. By the way, I brought you a Gelato." She said handing me the cup.

"Ohh okay, and thanks." I grabbed the cup and a spoon from the spoon drawer.

"I'm going to work on my homework." I yelled walking towards the door grabbing my book bag.

Not gonna happen.

"Okay." She yelled.

Eating my last spoon of Gelato,I finished my homework, after I decided to actually do it.

Looking at the clock and saw that it was almost 10, I went in to shower.

Coming out I decided I was going to head to bed early.

TGIF.

Walking into school, I head to my Locker.

"Hey, are you okay? You've been ignoring me." Bea comes out of nowhere.

"Uh yea I'm fine. And I haven't. My mom took away my phone." I lied, closing my locker.

"Oh okay."

"Yeah, well I'll see you around." I said walking away.

I didn't mean to be mean or anything really, I just don't feel like talking to her right now. Talking to anyone for that matter.

Hayes hasn't showed up for any classes. I'm starting to wonder if he's okay.

Lunch comes around and I'm sitting in the cafeteria, waiting for his group to show up.

About 10 minutes or so, I see the group, but I don't see him.

Panicking I walk out of the cafeteria and into the bathroom. I start pacing back and forth worrying if something has happened to him.

If something did happen. I swear I'll kill myself.

Probably not, but I'll probably do something.

Gathering my thoughts, I remember I had his phone number.

Quickly rummaging through my book bag, I find my phone. Typing in my screen lock I typed a quick message.

To Hayes.

'I hope you're okay, I didn't see you around at school today.

Within seconds I received a new message.

From Hayes.

' ohh I see you be searching for me, ;)

I'm fine I'm visiting my brother, Nash, in LA.

Finding that he's fine made me feel a bit better.

'I know you did not just leave me on seen. Gurl, oooh. You soooo mean. :c

I read over the message, walking inside the house, empty yet again.

To Hayes.

' sorry, had to get to class.

'Haha I was just joking. But I miss you Haylee. :-(

He misses me. Awe.

HE MISSES ME.

To Hayes.

'Awe. That's sweet. I miss you too.

I do miss him though.

From Hayes.

' ofc you do. I have to go. I'll call you later. Bye.

Coming out of the shower, I heard my phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"..Hi." The familiar voice said.

"Hi." I giggled.

"...What are you up to?" Hayes asked.

"Just came out of the shower. And you?" I questioned him back

"...Ohhh, cool cool. And nothing I'm just hanging out with my bro- "

"...Hayes is talking to his girlfriend!"

I heard someone say in the back.

"...Ohh is probably that girl he is always talking about."someone else yelled.

Biting down on my lip, I tried to hold in my laugh.

"...CAN YOU GUYS SHUT THE HELL UP." I heard Hayes yell.

"...Umm. Did you hear that?"

"Every single bit."

"...Oh my god. I'm so sorry. That was my brother and his idiot friends." He groaned.

"Awe. It's fine. You always talk about me?"

"... umm.. yeah." He said quite low.

"Oh. And I thought about what you said. And this is probably not the best way to say it, but I had a huge crush on you. Since like forever. But never said anything since you were with Kira. And when I said had, I had a crush on you."

"...ohh, so you don't l-like me anymore?" He asked, his voice sounding disappointed.

"I-I uh, no, I don't like you. Because I-I love you. I love you so much, so much that is hurts. & I would love to get to know each other. As friends." My voice cracked at the end.

I hear him let out a breath on the other line.

"... I fucking love you too." He says.

Laughing I answered, " okay, good. Cos I didn't want to make a fool out of myself. Now. I'm off to put on actual clothes. You have me sitting down in my towel."

".... oh, I would love the sight of that."

"Bye Hayes." I giggled and hanged up.

A/N; omg happy Thanksgiving you guys!! Hope you guys had a wonderful thanksgiving. I sure enough did, I spent most of thanksgiving with my long lost sister. Aka my best friend and her family.
