"Well...I haven't thought of that yet, but.. I'm sure we could come up with something before they suspect anything." Tyler said.

"We could just act like we were before. It would be quite simple really. No changes to anything." Josh suggested.

"Yeah. I'm overthinking this way too much." Tyler shook his head, slightly embarrassed.

"Well, maybe your not. Fairies can see through lies, what are we going to do about that? Your parents are older than you are, so wouldn't they be able to see a lie, more easily than you can?" Josh asked.

"Ugh, I wish I could tell them about you, but I know I can't because then they wouldn't let me ever see you again. And I'd have to marry the princess for sure," Tyler sighed.

"Aren't you 18 though?" Josh asked.

"Yes, why?" Tyler answered.

"Then can't you make your own decisions? Your an adult now, they can't make your decisions anymore." Josh furrowed his eyebrows.

"That isn't how it works with fairies. Our belief is that you cannot marry one unless approved by parents. They won't let me with you because they want me to marry the princess. It's ridiculous, I know." Tyler shook his head.

"That's so controlling." Josh said bleakly.

"Tell me about it." Tyler crossed his arms.

"I don't want to talk about that anymore. What do you wanna do?" Josh changed the subject.

"Hmm..Give me a tour." Tyler suggested.

"A tour of what?" Josh asked.

"The whole area. From what I've seen already, it's gonna be amazing." Tyler's eyes filled with wonder.

"I love when your eyes sparkle when your happy." Josh smiled.

"Why thank you. Your eyes aren't too bad yourself." Tyler giggled happily.

Josh sighed in content. He stood up, grabbed Tyler's hand, and walked into the living room.

"Where are you two going?" Bill asked.

"I'm showing him around." Josh said, still holding Tyler's hand.

"Okay. Don't stay out too late. It's getting dark already. And tonight you need to go with the pack, so be back before then, alright?" Bill told him.

"Got it dad. We'll be back, bye." Josh waved.

"Bye." He waved back.

The two went out of the door, hand in hand.

"What was your dad talking about?" Tyler asked, curiosity got the best of him.

"Just then?" Josh asked to make sure.

"Yeah, about you going out tonight with your pack?" Tyler clarified.

"Oh, every week we plan a pack run. Just for fun." Josh shrugged his shoulders.

"What am I gonna do then?" Tyler furrowed his eyebrows.

"Everyone is gonna be gone, so you can stay at home, or wander around." Josh suggested.

"Oh, okay." Tyler said.

"Are you okay with that?" Josh asked.

"Yeah, no, it's fine." Tyler assured.

"Ok, but if something is bothering you, tell me." Josh said.

"Mhm. Let's start this tour." Tyler jumped.
