"Who was that man Tyty?" Asked a very confused Jay.

"That was Josh, bub." Tyler answered, smiling at the name.

"Where you with him? Is that why you were gone?" Jay asked.

"Yeah, we're friends now, but shhh, don't tell mom and dad about him okay." Tyler said.

"Why? Is he your boyfriend? Is that why you aren't gonna marry the princess?" Jay wondered.

"No Jay, he isn't my boyfriend. And I don't wanna marry the princess because I don't like girls. At least not in a married way, okay? You'll know more when your older." Tyler said.

"Mommy is gonna yell at you when you get home." Jay's eyes were wide.

"Yeah? Wait a second. You said Zack and Maddie cried?" Tyler asked shocked.

"Mhm. They thought you ran away. I did too. But I found you!" Jay cheered.

"Yes you did." Tyler smiled.

"How did dad react? When I was "missing?"' Tyler asked.

"He was angry, but he cried in secret. I saw him." Jay said wide eyed.

"He did? Wow." Tyler was shocked.

Reaching the quaint but fair sized house, Tyler prepared himself for the worst.

Turning the doorknob he breathed in, waiting to release.

"Ja-, TYLER ROBERT JOSEPH! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" His mother yelled loud enough to cause an earthquake.

Jay gave him a look as to telling him, "told ya." Tyler let out that breath of air.

"I was with a friend, mom. I'm fine." Tyler said nonchalantly.

"Who was the friend? And why were you gone so long?" Kelly interrogated him.

"I left early and went with the kids." Tyler answered.

"I thought I told you, you weren't allowed out? You're grounded. Remember?" Tyler's mom said infuriated.

"You can't keep me cooped up in this house forever. I need to breathe." Tyler rolled his eyes.

"There's air in the house." Kelly said.

"Fresh air." Tyler replied sarcastically.

"You never answered my question." She said ignoring Tyler's comment.

"Which was?" Tyler asked.

"Who was the friend?" Kelly asked.

"Just someone in the village. I don't know their name though. I forgot." Tyler lied. His mom caught on.

She squinted her eyes, "I know your lying."

"No I'm not." Tyler continued.

"Tyler, I'm not blind. I can see straight through your lie." She replied.

"But I'm not lying." Tyler still tried to convince her, but she wasn't having it.

"Tyler Joseph. You are going to tell me who you were with." Kelly commanded.

"Okay, fine. It might have been Josh." He looked away.

"I thought we agreed on you forgetting him?" She raised her eyebrow.

"And you thought I was actually gonna cut him from my life? My first actual friend? Yeah, well no. We didn't agree on anything." Tyler snorted.

"But I'm your mother." She raised her voice a tad.

"And I'm 18. Meaning I can do whatever I want. I know you want me to cut Josh out because of the princess. I told you, I'll meet her, but no way am I marrying her." Tyler argued.
