Waking up, he saw that Jay was up before him again. He didn't mind, because Jay was a pain to try and wake up, so now it wasn't his problem anymore.

Remembering his meeting with Josh, he quickly brushes his teeth, not worrying about his hair, deciding it was okay.

Walking downstairs, his sister shot him a death glare. He didn't know why, but she never liked Tyler,so he brushed it off.

"Morning, Tyler." Kelly pursed her lips.

"Morning ma." Tyler said monotone, still upset with his parents.

Zach scoffed, and rolled his eyes.

His family had never shown this much hatred towards him, and he was clueless to why they were starting now.

"Your grounded for sneaking out." Chris said

"Are you sure your grounding me for that, and not because I don't want to marry the princess?" Tyler blurted, wishing he'd said that in his head.

"You disobeyed our rules. You have to be grounded or you'll never learn." Chris answered.

After that encounter, no one said a word, until Jay spoke up while the two were in their bedroom,

"They're mad at you."

Noticing his teary eyes, Tyler motions Jay to sit in his lap.

"Hey, it's okay. We aren't gonna fight. I promise." Tyler soothes.

"T-they said mean stu-stuff about yo-you." Jay sobbed.

"Well, we'll handle this a nice way won't we? We won't argue, we'll talk it out, right bub?" Tyler said calmly

"O-okay." Jay whispers.

"You go outside and play. Me and the others will settle things. Hm? How's that sound?"Tyler requests wiping away the tears on Jay's face.

Without answering, Jay runs downstairs, Tyler assuming he's going outside.

Walking down to the living room, Tyler calls,

"Birth givers and their children, I need to talk!" Tyler says, his aura is translucent red, because he's still angry about yesterday.

"Yes, Tyler? Have you changed your mind?" Kelly questioned with hope.

"Haha, funny. No. But I need help understanding something." Tyler answers, destroying the hope Kelly had little of.

"And what might that be?" Chris says.

"I don't understand why Zach can't marry the princess?"

"Because the king wanted you to." Chris raised his eyebrow.

"Why? I'm not special?" Tyler cocked his head.

"Your the first born of the chief of our village." Kelly says knowingly.

"Well can I meet her? Is she one of those snobby b-".

Chris coughs.

"Oh right sorry. Is she snobby?" Tyler rephrases.

"I've heard she's nice. And the prettiest of them all." Maddie answers instead of one of their parents.

"Hm, okay." Tyler says.

"So, you want to meet her?" Kelly says, the hope returning.

"Yes." Tyler answers.

"Good, we'll set up a meeting tomorrow. Be ready." Chris says having the same hope Kelly had.
