The two boys just got on the trail back to Tyler's village. Before they went on their way they checked to see if Josh was home, and he wasn't, so now they were on their way back.

"He still isn't home? What is he doing? I know he doesn't have training because he told me he didn't have any today and his dad would be with him." Tyler said shaking his head, thinking of what Josh could possibly be doing that he hasn't been home all day.

"Maybe he's just...I don't know, busy?" Brendon didn't have an explanation.

Just then a raven landed in front of Tyler and Brendon. And in it's mouth was a note. Tyler grabbed it and un rolled it.

"Oh yay, another note." Brendon laughed.

After Tyler read it, he stood there with his mouth opened.

"So now my family isn't gonna be home tonight? I'm gonna be by myself?" Tyler whined.

"I'll stay at your house. If you want me to that is." Brendon suggested.

"That's not a bad idea. We could have a sleepover!" Tyler clapped.

———

"Whoopie! This is my favorite activity to do at a so called 'sleepover'." Brendon said sarcastically.

"I have to find my cat. I can't leave her outside all night." Tyler rolled his eyes playfully, as he shook Zelda's food bowl.

"It's not like it'll die." Brendon said.

"She, Breadbin. It is a she. Besides, she has a name you know." Tyler looked at him.

"Okay whatever. It's not like Zebra will die. Let's go do something's exciting! Like play hide n' go seek or something other than looking for a cat." Brendon suggested, as he cracked a smile.

"You're the absolute worst." Tyler hit Brendon in the chest playfully.

"Aw, you know you love me." Brendon held his arms up.

"I just met you, you weirdo." Tyler continued to shake the bowl.

"Dang, I thought fairies fell in love easily." Brendon's smile grew wider.

"Yeah, I fell for someone that goes by the name Joshua William Dun. And he's ignoring me, so, my life is going fantastic, how about yours." Tyler rolled his eyes seriously now.

"You don't know that he's ignoring you." Brendon frowned.

"What would take that long for him not to be home?" Tyler looked at him.

"I don't know. But he isn't ignoring you." Brendon told him.

"Shh." Tyler looked back outside.

"I'm just," Brendon couldn't finish because Tyler put his hand over his mouth.

"I said, shh." Tyler turned and glared at him and then he looked back.

"There you are! Where have you been silly girl!" Tyler exclaimed, while he picked Zelda up.

"Finally." Brendon dragged the word out.

"Now, let's go do something exciting."

"I'm loving on my cat that has been gone for hours." Tyler petted her and didn't look up at Brendon.

"You invited me over for a sleepover, not a love fest dedicated to your cat." Brendon sassed.

Tyler shot his head up, "Don't use that tone with me."

"Yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" Brendon tried to get him riled up.

"Do you really want to find out?" Tyler squinted his eyes.
