How'd It Get In There?

"Tyler, you need to eat. It's important now." Kelly said from outside the door.

"So it wasn't important before?" Tyler said back.

"You know that's not what I meant." Kelly sighed.

"Whatever." Tyler got up and unlocked the door.

"Oh god Tyler. You look awful." Kelly said truthfully. He was wearing one of Josh's shirts that was left when he slept over. It comforted him because the oversized-ness made him feel smothered in Josh because of his scent. One of the last things he had. It was wrinkled and dirty. Tyler had bags under his eyes and unkept hair.

"Thanks mom. Tyler rolled his eyes as he walked back over to his bed to lay down.

"I'm not sorry. You deserve that, you could've malnourished the baby." Kelly pursed her lips.

"Well you're going to. I thought you said you had food." Tyler complained.

"I didn't actually think you were going to let me in. It's downstairs." Kelly sat down.

"You're not gonna go get it?" Tyler asked.

"No. You are." Kelly looked at him with a blank expression.

"What no. My family probably hates me from hiding their worst fear from them in their own house." Tyler shook his head.

"They don't. They actually miss you. It's been weeks since they've saw you. Jays been sleeping in Zack's room. And I've only seen you when I bring food up here. So you're going downstairs." Kelly stood up, but Tyler stayed in place.

"Dad?" He asked.

"He's gone. He's been too busy to spend time with his family." Kelly shrugged.

He sat there for a short while thinking, "Fine."

"Thank god. Let's go then." She grabbed his hand and let him downstairs, not wasting any time.

As they went down step by step, all three siblings stared at him. He gave them an awkward wave and went to the table. Jay rushed towards him, catching him in a hug.

"Tyty!" He exclaimed.

"Hi Jay." He whispered.

"No Jaybug?" He pouted.

"Oh, I'm sorry bud." Tyler looked down.

"Is it true?" Jay whispered with big eyes.

"Is what true JJ?" Tyler took at big bite of his soup.

"Yous got a baby in there?" Jay poked Tyler's stomach.

"It is Jaybug." Tyler smiled and brought his hand up to his belly. It wasn't huge, but you could definitely see a bump.

"How'd it get in there?" Jay cocked his head.

"Yeah Tyler, how'd it get in there?" His mom smiled at him.

"I, well, um." Tyler stuttered.

"Josh obviously." Maddy stated.

"Joshie gave you a baby?" Jay gasped and rubbed Tyler's belly.

"Mhm, he did. Like a present."Tyler nodded, taking another slurp of soup almost halfway finishing it.

"That's nice of him." Jay smiled. Zack snickered at his response and so did Maddy.

"Will I ever get to meet her?" Jay asked.

"We don't know the gender yet bubby. But when they do get here, you'll be the first one to see her." Tyler gave him a hug.

"We do, it's a girl." Jay shook his head.

short chapter to end things:)

it's was so amazing writing this! but all good things must come to an end. this was originally supposed to end at chapter 20, but i just got carried away and i just couldn't. this time i do have to end things though.

dont worry though. the sequel is being worked on. it's called 'Storybook Endings' as soon as it's ready it will be released, so keep an eye peeled.

i wanna talk about the new book i mentioned now. it's based on "all the bright places" because i enjoyed that movie a lot. would any of you be interested in it? let me know!
