Poem to Jamie
If you look at a highway
You see green-gray smog
If you look at a hypocrite
It was on the inside all along
When you pull petals of of flowers
You see a cascade of color
You see each one flying free
Like my love for any other
Though I know they won't approve
I see myself with you
Dressed in a suit by the altar
I'll love for me to be there next to you
Maybe if I dream harder
And pray once or twice a day
I'll see you with me
Like any couple this age and day
The colors on my flag and what I wear
Show what I truly want
To show love to the world
And the lad that stole my heart
Maybe I got it all wrong
Maybe we weren't meant to be
But for all it's worth
I was truly happy
A/N: I am sorry for the really slow updates and I am really trying hard to update the story! Either way, this is a poem I wrote not too long ago and I thought it would be good If I put it into the story as a bonus chapter and I am planing on making more!
