Ship: Dorbyn (Daniel and Corbyn)

Prompt: Daniel breaks up with Corbyn at school, Jonah comes up to Corbyn as Corbyn has tears in his eyes. But he tries to convince not only Jonah but himself that he's okay

-Corbyn's POV-

I walked into school with a big smile on my face. I couldn't wait to my boyfriend. I had taken my car today so we could go on a date right after school. I know he likes those.

As I walk up to my locker, I greeted by few of my peers. I smile and greet them back. After some turns and squeezing by, I finally made it to my locker. I put in the combination and pulled it open.

As I scan my locker, I remember to put things in and take things out. In the middle of putting in a book, I feel a tap on my shoulder. Stopping midway, I turn around and smile big once I notice it's Daniel. My boyfriend.

"Hey Dani baby," I smiled at him excitedly.

"Hi Corbyn," he says with a monotone voice.

"How'd you sleep?" I asked him as I step on my tippy toes, ready to peck his lips.

I frown once he puts his hand on my chest, stopping me from pecking his lips.

"Is everything okay?" I asked him, worried for him.

I finish putting my book inside and close my locker door as I see him think.

"Daniel," I say to get his attention.

He looks down at me and closes his eyes as he releases a deep breath. My eyebrows furrow as I took in a sharp breath. Things weren't going good.

"Corbyn," he whispers.

"I-I-um- I think we should take a break," he said as I froze. The world seemed as it was spinning.

"A break?" I whisper, ask.

"Why?" I ask him as tears threaten to come out.

"I just need some time to figure things out," he said as he couldn't keep eye contact.

"You have another one huh?" I ask him.

"Corbyn," he sighed as my heart broke. He does have somebody else.

"What did I do wrong?!" I ask him.

"Nothing," he replies.

"Then why do you already have another one?!" I exclaim causing a few heads to turn our way.

"Oh my god," I whisper as he stays silent.

"You've been cheating on me," I whisper shocked as I made the connection.

"Corbyn, I-," I cut him off before he could even explain.

"Get out of my sight Daniel James," i seethed at him.

"Corbyn please," he said.

"Leave," I told him as he looked at me one more time.

I refused to look at him, I just kept my head down. Tears falling down my cheeks.

I heard him sigh once more before his footsteps began to walk away.

The bell rang and everyone rushed to class. Everyone but me. I just stood there. My head down, tears falling, my whole aroma screamed sad.

"Corbyn," I heard a voice call out.

"Corbyn," I heard the voice once more.

"Corbyn!" The voice yell as someone shook my shoulder.

I wiped my eyes and looked up.

"What's wrong?" My best friend in the entire world, Jonah, asked me.

I just kept staring at him. A lost gaze in my eyes. Tears brimmed my eyes but I Refused to let them fall in front of him.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

I opened my mouth. Ready to tell him no. That my heart felt as it had been stabbed. That I felt betrayed. That all I wanted to do was scream and cry. That the pain in my chest was so much to bare right now. That I just wanted to disappear. I wanted to leave and never come back. That I wanted to run and not think, not look back. That I felt absolutely broken and torn apart. But I closed my mouth, took a deep breath and opened my mouth once again. I was okay. At least I think so.

"I just need a moment in my own space," was the words I whispered and walked out of school. Ready to drive for hours and just think.
