Tsuki's words rang in your head for a minute or two. This old woman already knew the basics of who you were. There was also the fact that you literally time traveled back in time. You wondered if this was going to turn into Back to the Future or something.
You sat back up from the floor, slower since you felt sore for no particular reason. "What do you mean you've been expecting me?" you asked. "You a stalker or somethin'?" You started to give the older woman an intimidating glare. Still, she was smiling at you. There was something about this woman that kind of knew you. It was like, in another life, you two had met. Probably not under these circumstances though.
"Well, not in particular," Tsuki said. "It was written down a long time ago on this scroll." The older woman held up a tube that, most likely, held the scroll. You felt like collapsing on your back again. 'Is this lady going insane,' you thought. She had the calmest expression on her face. You looked to the tray with two tea cups. The cochlear implant was untouched, so was the watch. The only difference was that the golden watch wasn't glowing at all.
Holding out your hand, you touched both items. Charlie. You shut your eyes tight to prevent tears from coming out. "Were these in the scroll?" you asked. "Written in the scroll I mean."
"The watch was predicted, but not the other item." Tsuki pointed to the cochlear implant. "What even is that anyways."
You picked up the device and opened your palm to show her. "It's a cochlear implant. My twin would use it to help with her hearing."
"I see."
The older woman studied the implant for a minute or two. You grabbed one of the cups and took a sip of tea from it. It tasted like really good dirt water, which was basically tea in a nutshell. Despite not being a tea kinda gal, you choked down the liquid. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. Still, things didn't feel alright. You were practically out of your element. Probably the only thing that could help you feel better was the moon. Your mind went back to a five year old you and Charlie, staring out the window. Your dad would scold you for being up so late.
"This might seem weird but, is there a good view of the moon right now?" you asked.
Tsuki smiled, "Of course there is." It was like she already knew you were going to ask her that.
You were able to stand up at least a little. Maybe it was the tea that helped. You then made your way to a back door that was slide-able. The door looked like it was made out of paper, and a thick one to be exact. 'It's still not a good insulator,' you thought. You then opened the door to witness the cold wind come rushing into the room. It was like the wind was waiting for you to open it so the cold could feel warmth for the first time. "Jesus Christ that's freezing," you shouted. Instantly, you shut the door, without a single glimpse of the moon.
Your caretaker let out a small laugh. "I should've said something about that, my apologies," she said.
"Well I'm not wearing the warmest of clothing," you gestured to the robe thing you were wearing at the moment. "What happened to my clothes anyway?" you asked.
"I couldn't have anyone see you with them on," Tsuki said. "So I had to destroy them."
"Well what'd you do that for?!" you shouted. "It would've been fine if I was in my school uniform."
"You're from a different time. I couldn't let people figure out that and put the timeline in danger."
You nodded your head. It was kind of understandable. There were plenty of time travel stories where people couldn't mess things up, or time wouldn't exist. Back to the Future was one of your favorite movies actually. Tsuki patted the mattress again. "You can sit if you'd like," she said. You awkwardly walked over to the mattress again, still a little disappointed you couldn't look at the moon. "Do you remember how you got here (Y/N)?" Tsuki asked.
