TRIGGER WARNING!!: MENTIONS OF SELF HARM

Silence filled the air as Ethan tapped two of his fingers against each other. He seemed worried by his own body language. You looked back at the woman, known as Yurei. She looked as if she was an angry parent because their two year-old ate all the cookies before dinner. You blinked once, twice.

"I'm in trouble aren't I?" you asked.

"Well, I am less mad at you then on the train," Yurei said. "Still, you didn't follow my instructions."

You lost all the air in your lungs. This woman was the voice on the train. She was a ghost? You wanted to scream, knowing that you were basically in a haunted house. Yurei was a ghost. A Lunar? If she was, then Kibutsuji already killed her off. You so desperately wanted to ask her so many questions. Your knees started to shake. Yurei's voice did start to sound like the voice on the train, as well as when you didn't want to forget everything that happened with Rengoku.

Yurei gestured you to a small couch by a fireplace. There wasn't a fire going in it right now, and it seemed to be a little more modern for the time period you were in. "Come spider lily, sit," she said. A gentle push from her was what got you going. Ethan floated after you two as well. The coach felt plush and like a normal place someone would sit on in an apartment. You found yourself looking at the coffee table. It was made out of black wood, which carried an unfinished puzzle on it. Ethan had started to place a few of the pieces where they belonged.

"Nice place," you said, trying to lighten the tension between you and Yurei.

"I tried to make it more familiar to you," Yurei said. "Besides, Ethan and I like doing puzzles together."

'Awww,' you thought. It was like these two were a couple of roommates. Maybe even a mother and her tall son.

Yurei placed a couple puzzle pieces down and turned back to you. Her expression from earlier had softened a bit. "You're not a very good listener are you?" she said. "Wait scratch that. You've been that way since you were born."

You stared at the blonde woman. How could she know what you were like since childhood? Had she seen into your memories or something? Can Lunars do that to each other, if she is one?

"Woaaaahhh are you like my guardian angel or something?" you asked.

"Not exactly," Yurei said. "It's annoying to explain." She rubbed her temples as Ethan looked up at her. Although, he went back to working on the puzzle not to long after. He grabbed a piece, handing it to you. You smiled and placed it where it fit with everything else. It was strangely calming to you. Puzzles weren't really your hobby in your own time.

Yurei seemed to have gotten her thoughts together, cause she turned back to you. Looking a little more calm than earlier. She sighed. "I am a Lunar as well, just not alive," she said. "I've mostly kept tabs on your father since he was born, but you became part of his life. In turn, I was able to observe your behavior."

You blinked a couple times. Were you hearing her right? She was watching your own father since birth? And she knew about you too?! Your theory was right as well. Yurei was a Lunar after all. That meant she really was there when the Kibutsuji wiped all the Lunars out.

"Do you have an idea of why the whole attack happened?" you asked, wanting to gain some information from her. That was your purpose of coming to the ruins after all.

"I can't really define a reason," Yurei said. "I was one of the first Lunars killed by him." She shuddered when she said those words.

"My master said it probably had to do with the prophecy."
