You lay there in your bed, looking up at the ceiling. It was boring. You couldn't nap either. You weren't tired at all. A groan escaped from you. It would be nice if you went outside. 'What's stopping me?' you thought to yourself. You sat up and looked at the empty beds. The visions from yesterday were still plaguing your mind.
"Yeah, I should go outside," you said in English. You threw the blankets off you and got up. Your feet felt delicate against the floor. When you stood up, you almost lost your balance.
When you opened the door, you looked around. There was no one around. Hesitantly, you stepped out of the room. The halls made a small echo as you took each step. Everyone was helping the boys train. It made the estate feel like it was abandoned. Though it was better than seeing visions of your dead grandmother in a hospital bed. You rubbed both of your arms as you walked. It was an old habit that carried on when you time traveled. Tsuki had said nothing about changing it.
Once you reached another door, you knew it was to the estate's flower garden. You began to open the door, but flinched from the first contact. It was like heading into a forbidden part of the Met. Your hand was shaking as you attempted to open the door again. The slightest bit of sunlight beamed in when the door was cracked. When the door was finally open, you closed your eyes. The sun was too bright right now. 'I'm a Lunar, not a Solar,' you thought. You chuckled at your own joke.
You stepped outside. This time, your eyes were more open. The garden was the same, since you first arrived at the estate. A butterfly or two flew around the flowers, pollinating them. You made your way to them. The ground was rough under your feet. You smiled as the butterflies made their way around you. Checking to see if you were okay. You inhaled the fresh air of the outdoors. This was way better than being cooped up inside.
Flower petals were tickling your ankles as you made your way through the garden. They felt soft. Like you were walking through a million feathers. You looked up at the butterflies. They were pretty. Blue and purple decorated their wings. You held up your finger and invited the butterflies to land on it. When one did, you smiled. "Hey little guy," you said. You made sure your voice was soft. As not to startle the small creature.
All the while, you thought of the strange dream from a couple weeks ago. You remembered when your grandmother talked about uncle. They were not blood related at all.
I saw him as my big brother, and he saw me as his little sister.
Those were the words she told you. You wondered how that story had went. Uncle must've found your grandmother somewhere. Maybe abandoned. Was he there when she gave birth to your dad? From what you could tell from the dream, that wasn't the case. The dream took place before he was even a zygote. Maybe before she met your grandfather.
You wandered around the yard for a little while longer. Getting the fresh air felt good. It might even do well for your heartbeat. Bringing in a little stimulation wouldn't hurt anybody, let alone you.
The sound of a door opening filled your ears. You turned to see one of the little girls from the estate. Naho was her name. She came running to your side, and grabbed your hand.
"Miss (Y/N)," she said. "What're you doing out of bed?"
"I was about to have a mental breakdown," you said. "Also I was bored."
Most of that was true. The room was boring without anyone else around. Also, those visions were bad enough that you thought they were real. A multitude of you grandmothers laying dead in the empty hospital beds. It was disturbing. More disturbing than Tanjirou's scar being like uncle's. Naho led you inside, where you saw the training room.
