You and Tanjirou approached the demolished home of Tamayo and Yushiro. Well, after you went on a man-hunt for the redhead's haori. Nezuko was gone, and the sun was peaking out of its burrow to say hello. The two of you go into the house to search for the three demons.
"Tamayo," you called out to the demon woman. You kind of wanted to find her first anyways. She, apparently, knew about your grandmother. The only way she could know was if she was a time traveler. Maybe she knew how to fix the watch. When you got to the stairs to head to the basement, you saw Yushiro. The green haired boy was at the edge and looking up at you.
Tanjirou cocked his head to the side. "Yushiro?" he said.
"Over here, over here," the green haired demon called from down the stairs. They were dimly lit and reminded you of a haunted house of some sort. "Not like you need to come down at all, but if you want to, get down here," he added.
"Yushiro," you heard Tamayo say coldly at the boy.
"I'm just kidding."
"Hurry down, (Y/N), Tanjirou."
When you got to the bottom of the stairs, you see Tamayo at the end of the hall. Nezuko was there as well. She looked at the both of you and ran right over. Her arms were outstretched. The demon girl wrapped her arms around Tanjirou, who returned the embrace.
"Nezuko," he said. The girl let go of him and looked at you. Her pink eyes had a gentle shine to them.
In an instant, you felt Nezuko's arms wrap around your shoulders. Your eyes widened and you went stiff. She was warm, and her grip on you were pretty strong. You felt yourself relax slowly, and hug her back. The memory of being hugged jogged you until now. It felt nice. 'How can someone so small be so strong,' you thought. The pain in your body from the healing was drowned by the hug. It was almost crushing your bones.
"I moved her to the basement so the sunlight won't hit her ahead of daybreak," Tamayo said.
The young girl then let go of you and turned around. She made her way to Tamayo and Yushiro. "Nezuko?" Tanjirou questioned. His younger sister wrapped her arms around Tamayo. Yushiro's pupils dilated and his jaw dropped.
"Why you," he barked. "Step away from Lady Tamayo. That's so rude."
"Stop it Yushiro," Tamayo scolded. "I don't mind at all."
Nezuko retracted one of her arms from Tamayo and extended it to Yushiro. Her hand landed upon his head, and was gently petting it. The demon boy looked shocked, as his pupils dilated. "Cut. That. Out," he said.
Tamayo looked up at you and Tanjirou. "Nezuko has been acting like this since she woke up," she said. "Is she alright?"
"Nezuko is fine," Tanjirou said. "There's nothing to worry about. She probably thinks you're someone in our family."
"I thought the spell on Nezuko only had an affect on humans. Yushiro and I are demons."
"She must have perceived you two as human. That's why she protected you." Tanjirou paused. "At first I didn't like the idea of Nezuko being under a spell. But, it looks like she has a will of her own."
Tears had welled up in Tamayo's eyes. They started to stream down her cheeks. No sobs were coming from her, however.
Tanjirou looked a little surprised at this. He waved his hands in the air in a frantic manner. "I'm so sorry," he said. "Nezuko, Nezuko, that's rude. You need to step away from her."
Tamayo's embrace with Nezuko only tightened. She lowered her head into the demon girl's shoulder. "Thank you Nezuko," she said. Soon enough, Nezuko let go of the woman and went back to you and Tanjirou. "Yushiro and I will leave this reigion," Tamayo adds. "We've gotten too close to Kibutsuji. That's why we have to conceal our whereabouts or there will be too much risk. There's also the fact that I'm a doctor that works with humans. People will sometimes see through me and know that I'm a demon. The young and elderly are particularly perceptive. Tanjirou?"
