Zenitsu's tackle was something that you would expect from him. The boy would always cling to you during any situation. It didn't matter if your lives were on the line or not. What you didn't know, was that the force from the tackle would make you fall on the ground. Letting out an 'oof', you awkwardly pat Zenitsu on the back. It was probably the only thing you could do in that moment. Even your thoughts of telling the boys what happened were thrown out the window. You tried to pry him off you a bit, but it wasn't working. When did Zenitsu get this strong? His grip on you would never be so firm. In the end of it, you could only sit up a little.
"You really missed me huh Zenitsu?" you said.
"Is that even a question?!" the yellow haired boy grabbed onto your shoulders. "It was so boring and the boar monster kept chasing me. Training is awful too." Inosuke huffed from being called out.
"It probably was, but can you please get off me?"
In an instant, Zenitsu sprung off you. He could've gone a few feet in the air if he wanted to. You noticed that his face was completely red. "I apologize," he said.
You were able to get up freely now, relieved that Zenitsu didn't crush any of your bones. Tanjirou repeatedly tried grabbing your arm to help you up. Yet you kept rejecting it. There was a strange look in his eyes. They seemed extra worried more than any other emotion they conveyed. Was he that worried for your safety? You expected Tanjirou to be the most calm out of the three.
"Um," you said. "I'm fine."
Tanjirou flinched. His face was slightly tinted pink. You then noticed his mouth at a thin line. He was about to move towards you when you felt someone pick you up. Hearing Inosuke's triumphant shout made you realize who it was. You looked down to see that his mask was slightly off, showing his pretty face.
"Moon guardian," he said. "Use your powers to make me float!"
You blinked a couple of times. "But it'd be dangerous out in the open," you said. There was still a chance for him to float all the way into space because of you lack of control over your powers. Things had been especially weird since the attack from Kibutsuji.
As if on que, something in the garden started to float in the air. It was one of the rocks that made the path to the estate. The rock was almost out of sight when you released it without realizing it. The boys stared at the rock, even as it fell on the ground. You felt a shiver down your spine. Your powers acting up like that never ceased to surprise you. Inosuke looked back at you. A disappointed look was on his face.
"You floated the wrong thing," he said.
"I can't control it Inosuke," you said. "They keep acting up at random times. So it's kinda dangerous."
Inosuke frowned. He looked more confused than anything. You looked around to see that the other two boys had the same confused expression.
"She's broken," Inosuke blurted. The other boy's reaction were complete shock.
You felt Zenitsu practically pull you out of Inosuke's grasp. He wrapped his arms around your shoulders, hugging you from behind. His eyebrows were furrowed as he stared at the masked boy.
"She's not broken," he said. "She's probably injured or something."
"Then we should take her to Miss Shinobu," Tanjirou said.
"But I'm fine," you said.
The boys didn't listen to your protest though. Zenitsu was basically dragging you by the hand to the estate. You noticed that it was the wounded wrist. 'Why that one?' you thought while biting your lip. The fact that you had to tell them about it went back in your head. Although their reactions would be a bit extreme at the moment. What you were going through right now was proof of that.
