Getting a now half unconscious Phoenix out and onto a table required both Vince and Dom.
Mia, having actually trained to be a nurse, told everyone what to do as she removed the bullet. "Okay, now i need you to hold her still while i stitch her up. It's going to hurt."
As soon as she started stitching Phoenix was awake again. Dom held her legs still while Brian held her torso. "I'm sorry, Phoenix. But this is needed."
When Mia was done and had wrapped the now stitched up wound, Phoenix stared at the roof. "Where's Carter?" Her words slurred.
Brian opened his mouth to answer when he was cut off. "This is the second time my wife is shot while in your company."
Carter was positively fuming as he went up to his wife, sending a glare in Brian's direction before turning to Phoenix. "An i thought you promised not to do anything that would get you shot again."
Phoenix gave a smile that made it obvious she wasn't entirely awake. "I'm sorry."
Questions for this books continuation.
The next chapters will not be ling an descriptive about how Fast5 goes, cause Phoenix got shot and is in pain and let's face it, Carter doesn't like Brian or the team.
I'm thinking of having Carter get rid of the last of Reyes men while Dom and Brian takes the safe. But that won't take long.
Is there some couple things you guys would like to see Carter and Phoenix do?
And i might go into Fast6. What do you guys think about that?
