Third pov

Phoenix turned her head to look at Carter. She blinked slowly, her head feeling a little mushy at the blood loss. "Carter?"

He was still glaring at Brian but his expression softened as he went up to her. He spoke quietly. "Reyes will die for this." He let her take his hand. He turned his head to look at Brian and the others. He sighed in irritation as they talked about quitting their plan. "And here i thought at least O'Conner would be smart enough to figure it out." He commented so they could hear.

Brian frowned. He'd though Carter wouldn't want them to continue after Phoenix got shot again.

"What would you know? And it's your wife on the table, why would you want us to continue?" Roman gave him a dirty look.

"Because i can promise you that Reyes knew she was in that car, and if he is willing to risk killing my wife then he's getting desperate." Carter said. He smirked when Brian finally caught on.

"You're saying that the best thing we can do now is to continue."

"That is exactly what I'm saying. Because if you quit now, i will be your biggest problem." He let seriousness seep into his voice. "My wife did not get shot for nothing."

Brian chuckled and looked at the rest of the team.

Dom nodded in agreement. "Reyes won't know what hit him."

Time skip

Carter let Phoenix sleep while he prepared for taking down Reyes. They had half of the men in the station working for them. He just had to make sure it was his men driving Reyes car.

It turned out to be easy, even though the car had crashed, leaving Reyes crawling out begging for help.

Hobbs had just arrived, he took a look at Reyes and handed Carter a gun. "Put three extra in him for my men."

Carter nodded.

Okay i can say that fast5 officially ends here.

Now i really need suggestions for things for our beloved couple to do.
