Third pov
When Phoenix was seventeen she was kicked out of her home. They'd only allowed her to pack one bag before telling her to leave.
The seventeen year old didn't know how to live on the streets and much to her regret she ended up having to steal.
Her old car hobby had been her salvation and the thing to save her when the Cortez family's enemies found out she had been thrown out.
It gave her the money she needed to survive and it gave her a way to continue living.
Right now she needed to continue living.
The streets were dark as the redheaded woman checked in on the hotel far away from her starting point. It was a shadier one and the receptionist didn't ask any questions.
The room was small but Phoenix just took a shower, took a nap and chamged clothes before realizing she wasn't in a good situation.
1: She didn't have a lot of clothes.
2: She couldn't say who was after her.
3: Money doesn't last forever.
4: She, in all her incredible glory, did not grab her phone. And last but not least, her husband doesn't know where she is and depending on what state he is in, he might not be able to help her.
The team.
Damn, she hadn't thought about them. She sighed, she'd find a way to reach Tej and Brian.
She just hoped the other people wouldn't find her.
Vote and comment, it keeps me motivated :)
