"hey," jackie says as we take arrive at the table where the boys were sitting. "hey love birds," roshaun says as him and alvaro laugh at something. jackie takes off her hoodie, setting it on the back of her chair. i take a seat next to alejandro and jackie was about to sit next to alvaro until mattia stops her, "hey jackie, can we talk?" he asks, catching her off guard. "uh, yeah sure, be right back," she says looking at me with a confused look on her face, making me shrug back at her.

"what's that about?" alejandro asks me as i take my phone out, looking at the notifications i've gotten. "no clue, he's probably just asking her about jenna or something," i tell him, pretending not to know. "or he's apologizing for what he said earlier," alvaro says, making all three of our heads shoot up, "shut up alvaro," i tell him, shaking my head. "my bad, didnt know it was a secret," he says as roshaun and alejandro keep looking back and forth between the two of us. "so are you gonna tell us or do we gotta go be nosy," alejandro says, roshaun agreeing with him. i sigh before telling them about the messages mattia sent jackie, and then about the conversation we had.

"damn, do you think she thought mattia had bad intentions?" roshaun says as the three look over at me. "i dont know, probably not, you know mattia always talks without thinking," i tell them, scrolling through my instagram and liking some edits some supporters tagged me in. "oh get this, so jackie took a video of me in the car right..." i say, telling them about what she said in the car. "thats how vic used to be when we just started getting big, but after a while she stopped caring," alejandro says, "just give it time."

after i told kairi about what i had texted jackie, i began to feel bad that i was putting words into her head about kairi. so when jackie went to the bathroom, i told kairi to stay there so they could talk about it, and i told the rest of the guys to come with me. i wanted to give them time to talk things out, and who knows, maybe they'll become official because of it. when we got to the diner, i started to get worried that things had gone wrong since they were taking a while, but alex said that jackie hold told him they were coming, and i sighed in relief.

when they walked over to our table they both said hi and smiled at us so i figured things were good, which made me happy. before jackie sat down, i asked her if i could talk to her real quick and she said yes, so we went outside to my car since i didnt know how long we'd be talking. "so listen," i start as we get inside the car, "i'm sorry about all the stuff i said earlier," i say turning to face her. "the last thing i wanted was to make you feel insecure about your relationship with kairi," i continue on. "it's just that i know he really likes you and i was just trying to help, which i obviously failed at," i say, making the both of us laugh.

"and what i'm trying to say is, i'm sorry for putting myself in your guys' relationship," i finish, making jackie look back at me. "hey, dont worry about it, seriously mattia, it's fine," she says smiling up at me. "i know you didnt mean anything bad by it, you just wanted to help, i get it," she continues on, making a wave of relief wash over me. "good, i was scared you were gonna hate me or somethin," i say, chuckling nervously. "so, we're good?" i say, holding my arms out for a hug, "yeah we're good," she says hugging me.

after my talk with mattia, we walk back inside and sit down, ordering our food and we just sat there, enjoying  each other's presence. after a while, we go back to my house and the boys take out their phones and do what they're best at, making tiktoks. "jackie come join this one," alvaro says as he sets his phone on my vanity, and telling me all i had to do was walk in and start doing a little dance that he taught me. soon enough the timer starts to count down and i do the stuff alvaro told me to do, making myself and everyone else in the room laugh.

a couple hours later, i hear my mom walk inside the room, seeing all of us sprawled out on the floor and on my bed, just on our phones. "hey ms. mendoza," i hear all the boys except alvaro say, "hi tia," alvaro says getting up to give her a hug. "hola muchachos," my mom says, hugging alvaro back and smiling at all the others. "its getting late, do you guys need a ride?" she asks, looking over at all of them as mattia says that he would take them all home. "alvaro, mijo, your mom said to stay here, she wants the house to herself," she says, making alvaro laugh.

a little while later my mom leaves and the guys all begin to pack up their things, getting ready to leave. they make one final tiktok, this time they all pile on my bed and start singing a random song. a smile grows on my face as i see how happy they all look to be together. afterwards, i walk them all outside, saying bye and giving them each a hug, alvaro doing the same, but instead doing their handshake. "bye jackie," kairi says throwing his arm around my shoulder as we walk to mattia's car. "bye kai," i say kissing his cheek and waving at him as he gets in the car.

"yall cute or whatever," alvaro says as we walk back inside the house, "you and my mom be saying that," i say laughing. "so i'm gonna shower, you can sleep on the couch in my room or on the couch out here, it dont matter to me," i say to the slightly shorter boy behind me. "alright, well i'll be in your room then," alvaro says as he walks straight in my room while i turn into the bathroom. after my shower, i wrap a towel around my hair and change, heading back into my room to see alvaro on facetime with our friend diego. "hey jackie!" i hear diego say, "hey d! aw i miss you" i say as i start putting my stuff away. after alvaro and diego finish talking, i lay down on my bed and alvaro on the couch and we watch a movie, eventually both of us drifting off to sleep.
