"i'll be at your house in thirty to pick you up, okay?" i smile at jackie who was getting ready through the phone. "okay bebe, see you in a little bit," she smiles back, blowing a kiss at me before i end the call. "is everything almost ready?" i ask mattia as him, roshaun, alvaro and i continued to set up for the party we were having for jackie.

"yeah, you can leave now, we'll finish setting up," alvaro says, walking into the kitchen with a large bowl and a bag of ice. "alright, thanks, see yall in a hour," i smile, saying bye and heading back to my house so i could go get ready. on the short walk over, i recieve a call from robert, "what's up rebound?" i laugh into the phone.

"hey, did you invite kairi to the party?" he asks as i arrive at my front door. "uhm, no, i didn't know if jackie wanted him there," i say, unlocking the door and going inside. "he told me they're good, she seemed fine when he gave her the present he got her," robert says as i hear someone in the living room. "present? what present?" i ask him as i make it into my room.

"i dont know, he didnt tell me what it was, just that she liked it," robert finishes. "anyway, can i invite him? cause if not i'm not going," robert says with a sigh. "yeah, sure," i say before we end the call and i beging to get ready. 'what could he have gotten her?' i ask myself as i put my shirt on. after i finish changing, i grab the small bag i was supposed to give her yesterday when we went out, but since we couldn't go, i just saved it for tonight.

after a little while, i begin the drive to jackie's house. "alvaro," i say as the peruvian boy answers the facetime call, with mattia and roshaun present behind him. "what's up?" he asks, looking around the house. "do you know what present kairi got jackie?" i ask, placing my phone down as i continue the drive. "no, why?" alvaro says, and if he doesn't know, i doubt anyone will. "just asking, robert told me kairi got her something, i just wanted to know what it was," i say, growing even more curious to what he got.

"oh, and he's coming to the party tonight," i say looking down and seeing questioning expressions on all their faces. "him and jackie are good now, according to him and robert, and robert said he wasn't gonna come if kairi wasn't," i say as i enter her neighborhood. "oh, alright bro, you at jackie's yet?" alvaro says as mattia and roshaun start whispering in the back. "yeah, i'm about to pull up, i'll text you guys when we're almost there," i say before i pull up to the house.

"alright, see you," alvaro says before he ends the call and i get out of the car. "hola ms. mendoza," i say as jackie's mom opens the door, allowing me in. "hola mijo, jackie! alejandro esta aqui!" she says as jackie walks out of her room, looking beautiful as ever. "hey ale," she smiles, giving me a hug. "hey hermosa," i smile, kissing her forehead. "ay, you two are so cute," her mom says as she gets her phone out to take a picture.

"okay, te amo, see you later and be safe!" her mom says to us as we leave. "bye mama, te amo mas!" jackie says as i wave goodbye. "you ready?" i ask her when we get to the car, "i hope so," she smiles. "sorry we couldn't go yesterday j," i say with a frown, looking over at her. "its fine, dont worry about it," she smiles at me, making me feel a little better. "are you sure? i feel bad i made all of you guys miss it," i say, trying to make sure she's actually okay with it. "yeah, it's fine, i just went somewhere else," she says, interwining our hands. "its fine, okay? i promise," she says kissing my cheek and sitting back normally.

"can you text the guys and tell them we're almost there?" i ask, giving her my phone. "yeah sure," she obliges, taking my phone and sending a message to the groupchat. when we arrive, to my surprise, mattia's house is already filled up with people. "damn, how many people did you guys invite?" jackie laughs, seeing all the cars and people spread out. "not this many, we can make em leave if you want," i offer, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable at her own party.

"nah, it's cool," she smiles as i get out of the car to go open the door for her. "thank you," she smiles, kissing my cheek befofe we make our way inside. "happy birthday!" is heard from various people as soon as we walk in, earning a smile and "thanks," from jackie. "hey fatheads," jackie says as we meet up with the rest of the guys, "you're lucky its your birthday or else i'd beat your ass," alvaro says, making us all laugh.

"yeah, okay shorty," she laughs as kairi and robert walk over to us. "happy birthday, again," the two say as they join us. "thank you guys," she smiles as someone else calls her over. "be right back," she says, squeezing my hand and walking off somewhere in the house. some time later, when more people arrive, mattia walks in the kitchen with a cake, catching jackie off guard.

"okay on three, ready?" mattia says loud enough for everyone to hear as alejandro turns on the candles. "one, two, three," the guys all say as everyone begins to sing happy birthday to me. i smile, closing my eyes and making a wish, then blow them out. "happy birthday angel," i hear alejandro say, wrapping his arm around me. "thank you amor," i say, leaning into him. "okay, now let's party!" someone from somewhere in the house yells, making us all laugh.
