"hello?" i smile at my phone as soon as i see maya's face pop onto my screen. "JACKIE! HI!" she yells excitedly, making an even bigger smile grow on my face. "hey mamas, how are you," i ask the girl who took of with kairi's phone, laughing as he yells from behind her.

"i'm okay," she says, running in her room. "i miss you though," she frowns at me, "why haven't you come over?" i gulp, not knowing what to say. "i miss you too, maya," i frown at the phone, "i'm sorry, i've just been really busy with school stuff," i lie.

"so you and kairi are still together?" she asks. "maya, quit being nosy and open the door," i hear kairi yell from outside her room, a smug smile on both of our faces. "just open it homie, he won't leave you alone till you do," i say, earning a smile from her.

she walks over to the door and opens it, making kairi snatch the phone out of her hands. "wait! i'm not done!" she says, chasing kairi back to his room. his loud echoing of his laugh drowns my ears, and i cant help but find myself laughing too.

"it's okay maya, i gotta go anyways," i laugh, making kairi stop in the hallway. "aw, okay," she frowns, smacking kairi's back. "but hey, if you ever wanna talk to me, just ask kairi to call me okay?" i say smiling at her through the screen.

"okay! love you!" she says with a smie, "love you too cutie, i'll have to see you soon okay?" i say back as she nods and walks away from kairi's room. "uh thanks," he mumbles, walking inside the room and shutting the door, laying down on his bed. "no problem," i say back, as an awkward silence over comes us.

"well i gotta go, see you later," i say quickly and ending the call before he had a chance to say anything back. "who was that mija?" my mom asks, bursting through my door. "maya,
kairi's sister," i tell her, leaning back onto my headboard.

"hola preciosa," alex greets as soon as he opens the car door, a smile instantly making it way on my face as he places a kiss on my cheek. "hola bebe," i greet him and he puts his seatbelt on, the sound of faint music was the only thing heard. "are we picking up mattia and alvaro too?" alex asks as i go on a different route than the one i usually go on.

"yeah, but i was gonna get us food first," i reply, attempting to make my way to the nearest chick fil a. "you're too sweet," he says, placing his hand ontop of my thigh, heat instantly rushing up to my face.

after wr get out food and pick up the rest of the guys, we go inside the school and all head off to our first period classes. "rosario, mendoza, nice to see the both of you," our teacher says as we walk in, "hey coach," i smile at him as we take our seats.

"okay, you guys got a project that you'll be working on for the next month, you can work on it both here and at home," he says standing up to face us. "its over any book that was turned into a movie, only thing is you have to get it approved by me," he says before sitting back down.
