"Shh, stop fussing, I'm just braiding your hair."

Hyunjin shifts in place, whining quietly as Minho intertwines pieces of his hair.

"How are you even braiding it, my hair is so short."

"I'm skilled Hyunjinnie, don't question it."

Hyunjin whines again before pulling completely away.

"Hyuuung, it hurts."

A pout forms on his lips as he gets off of Minho's lap, walking into the kitchen for a drink of water.

Minho sighs, reclining backwards so that his entire body takes up the full length of the couch.

He drapes and arm over his eyes as he shuts them, only to move his arm and reopen his eyes when a heavy mass sits on top of his stomach.

"Minho-ah, I want to play video games with you."

He grins at the boy before grabbing onto his waist and pulling him against his chest.

"I'm too tired Hyunjinnie, why don't we just cuddle together and take a nap."

"But I'm not tired."

Hyunjin whines, pressing his closed fists against Minho's chest in an attempt to push him away.

Minho only hugs him tighter before letting go, their combined force causing Hyunjin to accidentally fall off the side of the couch.

Another whine comes from Hyunjin as he remains in his position on the floor.

"That huuuurt."

Minho chuckles.

"If you come back up here, I'll kiss it better."

Unable to resist, Hyunjin leaps up, immediately curling into Minho's side as they intertwine their legs to stop them from both falling off.

Minho presses a soft kiss against the boy's nose, then his cheek; his jaw and then his forehead.

"All better?"

"Yes!"

Hyunjin giggles quietly before snuggling his head against Minho's chest.

"You're the best doctor."
