"Yes baby?"

"MINGI WHAT DO YOU WANT!?"

Mingi's eyes water, he quickly wipes at his face as he turns his back to his caretaker sniffling as quietly as possible.

Yunho's eyes widened as he finally processed his actions, running a heavy hand through his hair.

"Mingi? Baby?"

The little didn't move.

"Baby, please look at me."

Yunho reaches out and gently held Mingi's wrist.

"Mingi, daddy's sorry, he didn't mean to yell."

Mingi sniffled and wiped his eyes with his sleeve before turning around to face Yunho.

Yunho stood up and wrapped his arms around the younger boy, running his hands up and down Mingi's back.

"It's okay daddy, Mingi was being b-bad."

The little hid his face in Yunho's shoulder, and the older boy could feel the hot tears pooling up on his skin.

Yunho pushed them back and grabbed Mingi's shoulders so they could look at each other.

"Baby listen, you did nothing wrong it was all daddy's fault he shouldn't have yell at you, okay?"

Mingi nodded and reached up to wipe his eyes again only for Yunho to beat him to it, softly using his thumbs to brush off the tears.

"So baby what did you want?"

Mingi looked up at him with wide hopeful eyes, shyly biting his lip.

"Can we please cuddle?"

Yunho smiled and ruffed Mingi's fluffy pink hair.

"Of course baby!"

Mingi quickly flashed his cute gummy smile and Yunho could feel his heart melting as the little excitedly led them to their bedroom.

Mingi flopped down onto the stuffed animal covered bed and giggled when some of them bounced.

Yunho smiled as he slid into bed next to the younger boy, engulfing him in a big hug.

"Daddy! Daddy! I can't breathe!"

"Oh sorry angel, you're just so cute I could help myself."

Yunho proudly watched as a blush took over Mingi's face as he grabbed the closest stuffed animal and hid his face in it.

"Blueberry do you know where our Mingi went?"

Yunho asked the blue bear Mingi held in his hands.

"I'm right here!"

Mingi giggles hugging the bear to his chest instead.

"Goodness baby, I thought I lost you!"

Yunho held his hands to his heart and dramatically sighed.

"No! I'll never leave you!!"

Mingi flopped onto Yunho's chest wrapping his arms around him tightly, while burying his head into Yunho's shoulder.

Yunho held onto the the boy, softly petting his hair in the soothing way he knows little Mingi likes.

Time went by as the two boys held on tightly to each other.

Yunho could tell Mingi was on the verge of sleeping when his death grip loosened and his breathing slowed.

"Baby?"

Mingi hummed out an answer.

"I'll never leave you either."
