Hoseok's eyes blinked open, his mind was blank as he looked around the sunlit room.

His arms were asleep, he realized after feeling the telltale prickles up and down his limb.

He finally looked down at his sleeping mate.

He couldn't help but smile as he watched his husband sleep.

Kihyun's hair was fluffy, and his cheeks were squished against Hoseok's chest.

He looked peaceful.

Both boys have been incredibly busy lately, Hoseok with his unsatisfied boss, and Kihyun has been working online from home to watch their 4 year old son.

Everyday is a struggle, but they make it work.

"Hey baby, you gotta wake up."

Hoseok softly kissed around the younger boy's face and watched as he stirred in his sleep.

"Really Hyunnie.. it's morning already."

Kihyun moved to wrap his arms around his alpha's waist, squeezing extra hard.

"No. I'm staying here with you and you can't do anything about it."

Hoseok couldn't deny the fact his face flushed and his heart soared at Kihyun's soft morning voice paired with the way he squished closer.

"No, we can't babe."

"Yes, we can babe~"

Kihyun sighed and sat up face to face with Hoseok.

"Babe, we work so hard everyday~ you know we can sleep in just a little for once."

Kihyun whined, poking at the older's muscled arms wistfully.

"It's a weekend!"

Hoseok knew he was right, they deserved a break. 

The older boy huffed in defeat before wrapping the smaller boy in his arms, flopping down on the bed again.

Kihyun laughed from his spot on top of him, resting his cheek on Hoseok's shoulder.

The couple laid in silence, finding peace in each others company.

Kihyun was barely sleeping while Hoseok traced shapes and names onto his back.

There was a small sound when the door was pushed open, tiny hands grabbing onto to the bed.

"Daddy! Appa! It's wakey wakey time!"

Changkyun threw his leg over the bed and pulled his little body onto the sheets.

"Appa up!"

The little boy threw himself onto Kihyun's back, the latter letting out a grunt.

Hoseok reaches up to pet his son's hair, smiling as the pup preened into his hand.

"Baby slow down, Appa and Daddy are tired."

At that Changkyun pouted and crossed his arms.

"You and Appa make me wake up when I'm still tried... not fair."

The last part was a mumble but the two parents heard.

Kihyun rolled off Hoseok and pulled Changkyun to his chest, smothering his baby's face with kisses.

"Don't you wanna sleep my little pup?"

"No! I wanna play and my tummy needs food!"

The two parents looked at each other until Hoseok rolled his eyes and looked away.

"Hmm.. what if I said I'd give you ice cream for breakfast if you cuddle with us for 5 minutes?"

Changkyun gasped and jumped onto Hoseok's torso, wrapping his small arms around his body and shoving his face into his dad's shirt.

"Really!"

It sounded muffled but Kihyun could hear his excitement, reaching over and rubbing the pup's back.

"Yes baby, cmon let's nap."

Changkyun pushed his way in between both of his parents, hiding his face in Kihyun's chest while Hoseok wrapped his arms around them both.

They all laid in silence listening to each others soft snores, staying like that for a few minutes before Kihyun quietly whispered.

"You're buying the ice cream."
