This one is...different? I don't know how I feel about it.

You stared after the Hunter as you sat on your haunches, your hood down from your head so one could see your unhappy expression. Day after day your longing gaze rested on his back as your mind played out the many ways in which a relationship between you two would go. It was amazing how very alike you were to your human self. Humans assumed the infected had no brains, or at least ones that functioned, but that only really applied to common infected. Specials were special because of their ability to think (and of course their abilities).

You sighed and drooped your head, your long hair covering your face once more. Since you got infected you hadn't cut your hair (why would you need to do such a human thing?) and thus it had grown quite lengthy. It usually stayed in your hood, out of sight and mind. There wasn't a single hair that didn't have a split end, and although human you would've cringed, this didn't bother you. It was also greasy, dirty, and tangled beyond what a simple brush could fix.

Your eyes trailed down to your outfit: a hoodie and capris. They weren't anything worth noting besides they were [color of choice]. It mimicked the guy you had been low-key stalking's outfit, but most hunters dressed alike.

Your eyes moved further down to your bare feet and claws. You could probably walk across burning coals and not feel a thing by this point, not to mention you could hardly see your feet. The dirt that covered them camouflaged them perfectly with the ground. Your claws were dirty but not just by mud and trash. Blood and flesh are probably what you're thinking, but no. You hadn't....exactly...killed a human yet?

You know, you know, a Hunter that hasn't pounced their first human? Pathetic. Yeah, you reminded yourself of that every day. But the day you did, you'd rip that human's head right off the body and show Hunter your prize. He'd be bound to notice you then, maybe even.....

You had to snap yourself from your fantasy, and in doing so your eyes narrowed. You were going to find a human and you were going to get its head! With a smirk forming on your lips, you put your hood up and jumped off your perch to find your first victim.

It didn't take too long, the group had a member that wouldn't shut up. He was going on and on about some uninteresting story, taking animatedly like everyone was attentively listening (however they really wanted to rip their ears off so their suffering would end). For some odd reason, the corner of your lip quirked up. A memory came back to you about an old friend of yours that used to not know when to shut up. It was a charming trait, if sometimes annoying, but that was what led to you two becoming friends.

You shook your head aggressively, reminding yourself what you were here for. The determined look returned to your eyes and you set your sights on the biggest prize. If you took that one down Hunter wouldn't be able to not notice you! Your sharp teeth gleamed...er, would've gleamed if they hadn't remained unbrushed for so long as you locked on your target.

However, a dispute between the female and another man that looked too classy to buy clothes any less than $1,000 sprung up and your target's attention was drawn to them. This turned his back to you and you hissed angrily. You can't kill them as easily from the back.

As you watched the disagreement, you internally shouted 'Turn around!' But the target didn't listen, instead physically getting in between the two. The two started shouting, looking about ready to pull their guns on each other, and you found your grip on the roof tightening. If you could see your knuckles they'd be white.

Why did an argument between strangers in a random group make you anxious? Again, a memory surfaced of two of your friends fighting and you getting in between the two when they started throwing punches. You got hit, and only then did the two stop, and soon after they apologized to the other.
