Previously:

I told her I didn't remember much, and she told me I could go home in a few days after good anayalization. She also told me I sprained my wrist, had a few cuts and bruises. But other than that, I was fine.

And that I'll be out of here I no time.

Now...

Jack again once stood at the foot of my bed. After the nurse questioned me on if I needed anything else, or if I was hungry and left, he bombarded me with questions.

"What do you mean you'll never forget me? I just met you. I don't even know your name. And second, who are you, and again, why can you see me?"

I was taken aback by how he acted. But after little discomfort, I finally spoke.

"Jack, you were my best friend since 3rd grade. I couldn't forget that I made you up just so I could be happy," I say as I looked down at my hands. Saying this aloud, that I made up a friend to get me through the hardships of school, I realized that it was stupid. I'm 17, and my only friend is my imagination.

He doesn't say anything for awhile, which scares me that my imagination failed to help me. Until he walks to my side, and grabs my hand. I startles us both, that he doesn't go through me. As soon as he realizes that he's gripping my hand, he holds it up to his heart, and places the other hand on the handle of my bed.

The coldness from his hand in mine shocks me, but I give in. His other hand spreading frost onto the bed. He looked at me, pity in his eyes. Then smiles, and returns to concern.

"First off, I'm not a figment of your imagination. Second, i'm sorry you had only your imagination as a friend. And Third, I'll be your new, living friend."

His words filled me with hope, and we stayed like that for awhile.

Until the nurse came back in.

"Oh my, it's extreamly cold in here. (Y/N), would you like some more warm blankets?"

I looked at Jack, who had one hand behind him, and the other scratching at his neck as he shyly smiled at me. I smirked, then told the nurse I'm fine. But what she told me next, gave me complete surprise.

"Well, (Y/N), your able to go home today! But, before you do, Dr. Abel would like to speak with you." I gave Jack a quick glance and faked a smile. He just started pacing back and forth infront of the window. I took this as him thinking, so I didn't do anything more.

As soon as Dr. Abel came in, he gave me a full rundown on basically everything.

He said that a few people witnessed me getting chased by a few teens, and that the only place I knew to go, was the ice. So, they chased me into the ice and you were stuck in the middle as they walked off. I nodded my head to conclude I was right.

"The people who called the ambulance said that you tried to lighten your self by throwing your backpack to fully solid ice. Is that correct?" he asked. I nodded once more, and he continued.

"The people said the you played hopscotch on the ice to get away. Is this also correct?" I nodded again.

"Once you were out of the way, the people said you fell back onto the cracked ice."

I looked at him, confused. I specifically remember that a man in black pushed me onto the cracked ice. I looked at Jack, who looked at me with confusion. I turned back to the doctor, and explained to him that someone pushed me onto the cracked ice.

"No one saw anyone else with you, (Y/N). it was just you, and the people who witnessed it."
