Previously:
If (Y/N) has amnesia, then that means- " She doesn't remember me," I said aloud, shaking and on the verge of tears. It struck me hard, and thoughts rushed my mind. But the only thing I was targeting, was Pitch.
Now...
*****Big Time Skip*****
Daily, I come to (Y/N)'s house. And it's like she's grown a new personality. Of course, she still doesn't have any friends, mostly because the other teens made fun of her lack of memory. Which gave them the advantage to nearly drown her.
Everyday at noon, she ditches whatever she does to hike up to a cliff that overlooks the town. There, I've noticed she stays even after the moon is high into the sky.
And of course Manny is always talking to me about her. He told me that is have to find a way to make her remember me and the other Gaurdians.
But today was different.
It was raining, and rhe town had a mist like fog hoverwd over it. She came to the cliff like usal, but she had alot more injuries than she normally had. She threw her backpack on the floor, and sat at the edge of the cliff, dangling her feet off the edge. I walked out from behind the tree and placed my hands in my pockets as I walked to stand behind her.
As I approached, I saw her unwrapping a gauze, tears streaming down her face. I yanked off my hood, gasping at the marks and cuts on her arms and waist.
She whimpered as she pulled the last peice of gauze off her arms.
It hurt to see her like this, and it hurt that she didn't know me again. She was the only one who believed in me.
I was cut from my thoughts as she spoke. "Why is it like this?" she asked, staring down at her hands. She wiped a tear from her face as she looked up at the moon. She stared at the moon before speaking again.
"Why am I the one always getting fucked up?" I stared at her as she shook her head and stared back down at her hands. I thought for a minute before smiling and headed back to the tree to grab my staff. As she applied a new gauze, I took the staff and frosted over a patch if grass, grabbing her attention.
She gasped and stood up, staring at the patch of grass that was frosted over. I took this chance to frost over another patch, and she gasped again, staring at it before stepping closer. I smiled at her before making intricate patterns on the floor, watching her smile and giggle as I did so. I twirled the patterns around her as I did so. After a moment I stopped to let her admire my work. She stood in the middle of the snowflake patterns I made, shock and bewilderment on her face.
*****Third Person pov*****
Jack and (Y/N) stood next to eachother, but she didn't know it. Even though her memories were lost, she felt his presence.
Jack stared at her, amazement and care in his eyes. And she stood looking over the great pattern on the floor before crouching down to feel the frost on her fingertips.
Not long after, she stood up and backed up, taking in the full view of the frost covered grass before she slipped, and fell off the edge.
*****(Y/N)'s pov...*****
I slipped and lost my footing as I fell over the edge of the cliff, grabbing a damp root if the tree before I could fall to my death.
I heard my name being called, but couldn't see anyone as the dirt and rocks crumbled away from the roots. The rain poured down from the sky as I tried my hardest to keep my grip on the roots. With a final movement of the mud falling away, the root s gave out, and I started falling.
But someone grabbed my hand before I could fall too far down. I looked up to see who grabbed me, and memories flash through my mind.
*****Flashbacks*****
A boy stands next to me as I'm in a hospital bed, concern on his face. We talk for awhile as I talk about him being my childhood friend.
Another, running through the forest as we both chase something we saw. We end up at the edge of a small lake. A 7ft bunny come out of the tree line with boomerangs and intricate details on him.
We land in a weird room, with the 7 ft tall bunny I've come to know is named Bunny, a fairy, a sand man, and who looks like Santa. He's here! Quiet!" Santa motioned towards the flying creature. "Tooth! Be quiet! Hey...! There he is! Jack Frost!" Santa said as he motioned to the boy in my previous memories.
I'm locked in my room, aware of tears streaming down my face as Jack Frost sits next to me, calm8ng me down and kissing the top of my head, humming to a familiar song.
I'm falling, reaching for an emerald after Pitch pushes me off his sand. Sandy has died, and the last thing I saw was Jack Frost's face.
Jack Frost is near me, holding me close in this cold place with blue, icy walls. I hand him a golden box and after he's done looking at it, he jumps up, staring at me and his staff, talking about him having a sister, and a life before this.
A moment of silence and music through the forest as I walk onwards, trying to forget a past memory. I stand still, staring at the sun as it rises above the snow covered trees. Jack Frost stands next to me, placing a hand on my shoulder. "I never meant to kiss her, (Y/N). I swear to it. The only person I love is..." he trailed. My lips had touched his for a brief minute before I pulled away. "Jack, I really like you. And if you don't like me, then I'll be okay. I just, felt like I needed to say it now before I wouldn't be able to later," I said as I bowed my head. He lifted my head to meet his chill, icy blue eyes, and he kissed me back.
Pitch holding me by my neck, squeezing as hard as he can. His Nightmares surrounding me, dancing and whining as Pitch smirks and squeezes tighter. My vision going black, but then the Nightmares dissipate into a blue frost, and I start falling, someone calling my name.
*****End Flashbacks*****
I stare into Jack's eyes as he pulls me up onto the ledge. Heavily breathing, I yank Jack into a tight hug, tears streaming down my face. It takes him a minute to acknowledge that he's not going through me.
As soon as he realizes, he sheepishly laughs, hugging me back, tears falling down his face. He holds me tight as we sit there, acknowledging that we're with eachother.
