Rise With Frost (Reader x Jack Frost, Rise of the Guardians) [COMPLETE]

Chapter 10

Previously:

I finally decided to get up, and as I did, something flashed past the window, black sand coming in from the window. Me and Jack looked at eachother as Tooth bounded into the room.

"Pitch us back," was all it took for Jack to grab my hand and fly us out the window.

Now...

I clung to Jack as we flew with Tooth and Sandy to meet up with North and Bunny. North stayed in his sleigh while Bunny was on the wing of the sleigh. Jack set me down directly infront of the sleigh, and approached Sandy, who was talking to North and Bunny. Tooth flew up to me as Jack started talking to the others.

"They took everything. The teeth, the fairies, everything. We've tried to grab the teeth, but it didn't work well. Pitch is somewhere on the other side of town," she said as she pointed to the south side of town. A storm of black sand was forming, and that's when I realized what he was doing. He was giving kids nightmares to fuel his storm of darkness. As I stared into the dark shadow of a storm, Jack placed a hand on my shoulder.

"It's fine, we'll get him." His voice was so reassuring, that I almost believed him. But as I was, I heard a dark laugh, and everyone raised their eyes to the roofs of the buildings. As I did, I saw one of my friends from when I was extreamly little.

I pointed to them, and Jack had a confused look on his face. I started running towards them, and Jack and Sandy followed. Tooth, Bunny and North stayed back in the sleigh. As I ran towards them they started running to a valley. I stopped in the middle of the road and looked back at Sandy and Jack, who were looking back at me. Sandy and Jack stepped infront of me as we started walking towards the ally.

"Stay there, and don't do anything," Jack said as he pointed his staff to the back of the alleyway. I couldn't see much, but what I could see was a black shadow moving about. Sandy and Jack side stepped to let me see what was happening. Sandy then turned to me and handed me an emerald necklace, and sings popped over his head. First the necklace I now held, then a cloud, then what was supposed to symbolise air currents.

I guess the confusion showed on my face, because Jack explained. "The necklace give you the ability to fly, and use telekinesis. Don't lose it." I put it around my neck, and felt myself floating off the ground. Jack smiled and turned back to the moving shadow. Sandy took a step forward, and the shadow stopped. We all got a good view of what I thought was my old friend. It was a version if them made of black sand, and when we all got a good enough look, we heard a laugh coming from behind us. We turned slowly to see multiple dark horses, all made of black sand with gold eyes, much like Sandy's golden sand.

Jack pulled me back, pointing his staff at the horses. I stood behind Jack and Sandy as the horses closed in. Sandy and Jack looked at eachother, then Jack spoke. "You take the ones on the lefy, I'll take the ones on the right...?" Sandy nodded his head once before the horses lept at them. Sandy formed a golden whip, and started flicking it at the sand-made horses, while Jack started shooting sparks of frost from his staff.

While all this was happening, I heard someone step out of the shadows behind me. I wiped my head to face who it was, and there he was. His grey smile and spiked black hair gave me chills as he rushed at me. I tried to scream, but nothing came out. I flew up just before he could grab me. As my feet left the floor, he created a cloud of black sand, and followed me. Jack looked back at us, and panic ran through his eyes.

He nudged Sandy, who looked up at us. Both of them flew after us. As me and Pitch stated fighting, throwing frost sparks and black sand bullets, Jack got hit from the sky, and Sandy started being surrounded by thousands of Dark horses. He started whipping at them, and they would turn golden for a minute before returning back to the black sand.

Jack was fought by tooth, who now flew back to North and Bunny in the sleigh.  As I realized what was going to happen, I stopped fighting Pitch, and rushed to Sandy's side. As the horses started to hit us, I shielded Sandy. Too much was going on, but when I looked up to pitch, he had two black sand arrows, and pulled them back. My attention was turned back to the others as the same with black clouds happened to them.

"Are you scared now, (Y/N)?! Do you believe in the Boogeyman?!" I heard Pitch yell. I didn't dare turn towards him just letting my guard down.

While I shielded, I heard arrows being flung, and I heard Sandy fall next to me, and Jack yell. I turned to Sandy, who had a black patch on his back. As I bent over to help, I felt a sharp pain on my shoulder, and when I placed my hand on what hit me, I was filled with moral terror.

Jack's pov.

"NO!!" I screamed as the shots were fired. I saw Sandy fall first, and that's when I jumped.  I flew towards the dark cloud of sand, trying to get to Sandy and (Y/N). The Nightmares kept lashing at them, and (Y/N) seemed like she was trying to hold them back. As she realized what happened to Sandy, she bent down to help.

And that's when my eyes filled with horror as Pitch drawed his last arrow. It made me stop dead in my tracks, and Tooth nearly ran into me. She gasped as she saw what I saw. Sandy's golden cloud was turning black, his golden sand turning into nightmares.

Me and Tooth both started rushing to the cloud of now black sand as Pitch grabbed (Y/N). He raised his hand, and a wave of Nightmares came at me. While Tooth kept flying to reach (Y/N), I kept rushing to Pitch. But before the Nightmares could get to me, I grabbed my staff with both hands, looked at Pitch, and shot out a bolted wave of frost. The sand shot and broke up like fireworks before it all fell back into the shadows.

I took a sharp breath in as I realized that Pitch dropped (Y/N). Me and Tooth rushed to grab her before she got the floor.
