I skated, letting both fears and pain wash away, minute after minute. As I made some paths of figure Eights, I did counter turns, loops, and bracket turns. As the afternoon got colder, and night began to fall, I stopped skating. As soon as I finish, I hear clapping, and a round of whistles.

Now...

I turned around, and saw Jack standing at the edge of the woods. He walked out onto the ice, still clapping. When he got to me, he smiled. "You never told me you could skate," he said.

I blushed and looked at the ground before smiling and looking back up. "There's alot of things you never knew about me." He only smirked and shook his head. "Alright," he said, turning back around and walking away. I skated over, and stood infront of him.

"Excuse me, where do you think your going, Frost?" I asked, shaking my head and pointing my finger at him. He shrugged before pointing at my skates. "Mostly just waiting for you to finish."

I smirked, then went over to a log to take off my skates. As soon as I had, I stood up and placed my hands on my hips. I saw Jack staring at me from the middle of the lake. I walked closer to the edge of the lake, and shook my head. "What are you doing?" I asked, crossing my arms infront of my chest. He shrugged again before smiling and laughing. "You ask too many questions. I'm just waiting," he said.

I gave him a confused look, but before I could say anything, he flew over to me, and held out his hand. I stared at it, not knowing if I should take it. He laughed, shaking his head slightly. "Here, take my hand. I'll give you something to really question."

I stood there, blank expression on my face. I looked up at him, his eyes full of hope. "But, we still barely know eachother," I said. He chuckled and grabbed my hand and pulled me closer. "Well then, I guess we should know eachother better," he said.

With that, he grabbed my waist and flew up onto the sky. I held back a slight scream as the wind shifted, and carried us both higher and higher into the sky. He chuckled as I let out a small yelp. He held me tight as we slowed down to a stop above the clouds.

From here, the world was breathtaking. I could see the entire town, the lake, mountains far beyond what I could see when on the floor. I gasped as I took everything in, and I could tell Jack was smiling. "So, anymore questions, Snowflake?"

I looked back at him and his grin said it all. I shook my head, finding myself for a loss of words. The plains, the woods, the feilds, mountains, roads, rivers, everything, was beyond breathtaking. It was like it was all out of a fairytale.

We flew down towards the rivers, and I could see the fish swimming the same speed as us. They darted back and forth as I placed the tips of my fingers in the water, and made patterns with the water. I giggled as Jack flew faster, dancing us on the surface of the water of the still river.

We flew above the snow covered trees, and when Jack touched the top of one, the snow created a thin layer of frost on top.

"Hey wind. Take us home!" Jack yelled. The wind shifted again, and we flew higher into the sky again. I held on tight to him as he flew us above the clouds, shooting rockets of frost that exploded ahead of us.

Not long after, we landed on my rooftop. He still held onto my waist as my arms were still around his neck. He smiled down at me as I looked up to him. "How was that, Snowflake?" he asked. I blushed at the little nickname he gave me, and looked down. I silently counted to three before looking back up again. "It was amazing. Thank you, Jack," I said, leaning in close and hugging him. He hugged me back before we both parted. "You're welcome," he said.

He turned, standing at the edge of the roof. He sighed before looking back at me. "Goodnight, (Y/N)."

With that, he flew into the sky, and above the clouds. I stood where I was, silently thanking the moon for what was given to me today.
