Chapter Eleven

Boys Will be Boys

Kenzie

"I don't know what you're talking about." I pretended to play it off, there was no way of him knowing for sure, was there? "I think you know exactly what I'm talking about." He walked around behind me putting his hands on my shoulders causing my body to completely jerk. "What you're doing for him, and what you're doing for his clients. I honestly wouldn't mind if you got down on your knees for me." I wanted to thrust away from his body and his touch but his grip increasingly tightened.

"What do I have to do for you to take it down?" My voice was shaky and I muttered under my breath hoping he heard me. "I think you know what you need to do." He pushed the hair away from my neck and left a kiss on my skin. His lips moved up to my ear and his warm breath was on my skin. "Be here tonight at 8." And left.

"I don't care what it takes, but you will get rid of that photo."

Whatever it takes.

I went back to school and put on the most convincing face despite the anxiety rolling around in my head and my stomach.

Any more and I'll have to leave for sure. And for some reason, I really don't want to, like the people here have been greater to me in the short period of time I've known them than any other past alias' I've had.

My hands were shaking, I was too jumpy, what if someone got suspicious about the photo? What if someone reported it? What if my friends know?

"Hey."

My body completely jumps and my heart stops at the sound of someone behind me.

Isaak.

"Wow that was quit a jump, you okay?" He said putting his hand on my shoulder. "Yeah I'm fine." I took a deep breath. "What's up?" I calm down and look at him. "Not much, Johnny and I were looking for you to tell you that we got the picture down." They really did that? "Really?! Thank you." I threw myself onto Isaak and his body jolted down a bit either because it was unexpected or because of the big height difference. "Hey it's no problem." His arms wrapped around me. We both let go. "He probably still has the photo on his phone and may notice it's gone soon." I remembered I was going to meet up with him. "I have a plan, but don't tell Johnny, Okay?" He nodded and smirked like he was excited to get down on something.

I spent most of the day with Isaak, we had been someone of acquaintances but we became really good friends over the whole day. And I'm glad he was helping me out so I didn't have to do this alone. The thought of getting Johnny involved or him knowing was nerve wracking. Isaak said if he got into one more fight especially since the coffee shop is right at the end of campus, he could get suspended and it's his last chance.

"Are you positive we shouldn't bring Johnny, or at least tell him, he was worried about me today?" Isaak looked in my eyes and assured me it was a bad idea. "I'm sure, Kenzie, he's too protective, especially of you, he can't get into trouble."

Especially of you.

Why did that leave so many flutters in my stomach. "Yeah, you're right, lets go"

The end of the day came along and we wasted time with some friends before heading to the coffee shop.

There he was. 8pm Sharp, Cole Sanders was sitting there in the empty shop after closing at the table we previously stood so close to. Isaak was in the back waiting for my signal. We had a plan, I just hope it works.

Cole heard me walk through the front doors with a subtle gleam of excitement in his eyes. May be the first time he's been with a girl in a while considering he had to blackmail me to get me here.

I knew what I had to do thought, I knew I wasn't going to like it, but it was either this, or a new life.

The next thing I know, my lips are back on his slimy ones, this time less force than the occurrence at the party, but just as disgusting. My hands slid up past his back swiftly pulling his phone out of his back pocket, not even a flinch. He was too engrossed in me. I held the phone up behind his head and Isaak snuck through and grabbed it.

Once he was done he handed it back to me and I shoved it in Cole's pocket finally throwing his body off me and wiping off my lips with the sleeves of my shirt.

"Yugh." The only expression I could mutter from my mouth.

"Uh What, you were diggin it?" Was he seriously so fucking stupid. "I wasn't enjoying anything, but I got want I needed." Isaak came out behind me, i'll admit, it didn't take him long to realize what I had been getting at. He pulled out his phone from his back pocket and his expression grew angier as he took multiple steps towards me Isaak stood in front of me and Cole stopped.

"You're gonna pay for that you bitch!" He yelled at my pointing his fingers. "You may have deleted the post, but I will always know the same truth as you, what's really going on in that family of yours." My body tightened and my face stiffened at those words coming out of his voice, I pushed Isaak to the side so Cole was in my line of sight.

"Isaak, wait outside" My eye contact didn't break from Cole's but I could feel a confused stare coming from him. "I'm not leaving you here with him." Still staring daggers into Cole's eyes. "I'm fine, it'll be short just wait outside." He didn't question me, he just left.

"You don't know anything." I said with my eyes beginning to water but my stance wasn't weakened. "You mean I don't know that your step daddy is raping you, that he's selling your body to his 'clients', that he's constantly abusing you, I know about how your real daddy died, that your mother killed herself, although I'm still not quite sure about why. Maybe because she found out you were sleeping with her husband." My hand flies through the air to slap him, but it was too obvious and his hand engulfs my wrist holding it next to his head. My eyes are filling with water til it's to the point he can already sense me breaking. So badly I didn't notice his grip began to increase on my wrist, but not in an angry way, he was still so calm and unphased, I don't think he even noticed either. My hand became purple and I could almost feel my bones giving up like I was. "You may be wondering how I know all this, one of your 'blasts from the past' came to see me, he also asked me to tell you this. See you soon, Sugar."

Cole made his way out the back door. I could feel my entire body beginning to heat and tense up, not like a panic attack, but like I'm completely breaking. Never had anyone said it to my face like that to see what was actually happening to me. This entire time, almost my whole life I had been ignoring and denying all the signs of what was happening to me. Everything he said was true, but I always pushed it away, maybe if I hadn't Mom would still be alive.
