Chapter 20

After making everyone who ate Ramen work, Senku tried to get Gen to talk about Taiju and Yuzuriha. Surprisingly, he admitted to being one of Tsukasa's men and told Senku they were just fine. Kohaku asked if she should kill him but Miku stopped her.

"Asagiri Gen I was already 10 billion percent aware that you were playing coy just to gain information. But why would you suddenly come out and admit that you're one of Tsukasa's men?" Asked Senku.

"Because the situation has changed. After I saw this," Gen says while referring to the iron that was made.

Miku couldn't contain her excitement. She was jumping up and down as Senku poured the molten iron into the cast that Miku made.

"Well, isn't someone eager to play with some metal," Gen comments.

Miku stopped jumping and looked at Gen saying," Of course I'm excited. Do you have any idea what items we can now build with this?!"

"No, not really. Besides, I'm not here to marvel at what you two are making. I'm here to confirm Senku's death and to know your whereabouts. All I need to do is say, "Tsukasa! Senku's alive and Miku is with him!" and it'd be the end for you two. And that's what I planned to do. But if you're able to create iron weapons then who knows how the outcome of that fight could turn out!! All I'd need to do is give him a false report. "All I found was a primitive settlement. I found Miku and she was in grief over Senku's death thus confirming his death." and then you two would be saved. However, I'd have no idea if Tsukasa would want to take Miku over to his empire or leave her here," Gen explains.

"Kukuku well, I guess we'd be pretty thankful if you'd do that. With Miku's all-around abilities I'm sure Tsukasa would want Miku in his empire," Senku says.

"I've got no policies, morals, or hang-ups at all! The world's most silver-tongued man! All I want in life is to shack up with some cute little girls and enjoy myself! I could care less if either of you or Tsukasa die. No matter which one of you falls I'll be riding the winning horse!" Gen says with a creepy face.

This made him end up in a headlock that Miku put him in.

"Listen here, mister. The Kingdom of science will prevail! If you want a kingdom that can provide then choice the kingdom of science. We will eventually be able to create anything you want," Miku says while letting gen out of the headlock.

"Amazing Senku you have such a loyal girl by your side. However I'm still leaning moreover to Tsukasa's empire," Gen says.

"I really want to kill him," Miku says holding up her knife.

"Same here or I at least want to lock him up," Kohaku says holding up her own knives.

"If we don't let him go back to Tsukasa's then Tsukasa will come to check on him himself! Miku, come over here and help me," Senku states.

Miku puts down her knife and climbs up the storehouse with Senku.

"Kukuku Don't worry. Once you see what I'm about to make out of my amazing new item, iron, you'll 10 billion percent want to join the kingdom of science," Senku says.

"Hmm, and what will it be? A katana or something?" Gen questioned.

"Not even close," Miku commented.

"A power station," Senku said.

Gen in a state of shock said, "Wait, here!? In the stone world?! Are you guys nuts?! That's was too impossible!!"

"Look Senku we can melt down this copper and make copper wire," Miku said while ignoring Chrome's complaint on not wanting to break the copper.

"After that we just need some lighting to come," Senku says while lightning struck across the sky.

Senku was in shock and Miku looked worried.

"We're in serious luck!" Chrome says happily.

"No, we're not! We're not ready. This is the worst timing possible," Miku says.

Senku puts a hand on Miku's head and says, "Don't worry. We'll get this done."

Miku blushes and nods. She goes over and starts to melt the copper to make copper wire. Suika runs to the village to get lacquer that Senku requested and Kohaku takes a part of the bridge and carves grooves to make the wire. Miku pours the copper into the mold and later Senku wraps the wire around the lacquer coated iron bar.

A couple of moments later Kohaku realizes that a man called Magma was on his way over. Kohaku warns them that words won't get through to him and they won't be able to avoid a fight.

"We can't get into a fight with the village now. It'll be all over. We have to do something," Miku says.

"Hmmm! I guess I don't have a choice. I don't wanna get killed too if I get caught up in this. Would you mind handing me a bunch of flowers Suika? Flowers are much better than war after all," Gen says.

He went over and distracted the villagers while the rest of them finished up and headed towards the Bald-top mountain.

With the help of Kohaku and Miku, they were able to get Kinrou's spear and tie it to the magnet and place it in the ground. Gen couldn't believe it. Senku was able to create electricity in the stone world.

"Yay! We have electricity!" Miku shouted.

She went over and hugged Senku while giving him a kiss on the cheek. She was so happy that they were one step closer to modern-day science.
