After creating a game plan, Gen was still uncertain that they could pull this off.

"Don't worry Gen. It might take a while but we can certainly make a phone," Miku says, trying to reassure Gen.

Thanks to Senku's honorary Chief status, the group was able to get the villagers to help as well.

"Making a cellphone in this stone world is an unbelievably large project. The number of items we'll have to make to get there is nuts!" Senku states.

"Oh man, that's right! That thing you call a cellphone. Isn't it crazy still being able to talk over stupidly large distances?!" Chrome says getting in Senku's face.

Kaseki joins Chrome saying, "Could you kindly explain how it works?!"

"Too close! Too damn Close! You guys are way too excited about this," Senku said while trying to get away from them too.

"What we call a "voice" is simply vibrations in the air. When you pass those vibrations through a diaphragm it transmits very slight pulses of electricity in time with those vibrations. And just as you'd expect, since it's so very slight, we forcibly amplify it..." Miku explains.

Senku continues, "...after that when that electricity flows around and around the same place, it becomes waves of energy that overflow into their surroundings. These are called "Electromagnetic waves. And in order to receive them, all you have to do is follow the same steps in reverse."

"O...Okay! I understood about half of that!" Chrome says.

"Ohoho. Zero for me," Kaseki says.

"Even with my high level of understanding, you both are making my head hurt... like what do we need to make first??" Gen questions.

Senku looks over at Miku and says, "Miku I'll need your expertise in engineering."

Miku smiles and replies to Gen, "We're making a cotton candy machine."

And so they got to work.

"Senku I'll need you to find the ingredients while I build the first prototype," Miku says while teaching Kasek what she was trying to build.

Senku nodded and proceeded towards the village.

Chrome asks Miku, "What did you fetch Senku to get?"

"Well with this we can make wires," Miku explains.

"Oh then wouldn't we need to get gold?" Chrome asks pointing towards the storehouse.

"Hahaha, well gold is too valuable. We first have to test to see if it's consistent and stable. Making cotton candy will help us see what improvements need to be made on the machine," Miku says while tying a rope to the top of the machine.

Sometime later Senku came back with hard Sake bits and they melted them down to make rock sugar. Adding that into the machine, with Kinrou and Ginrou pulling on either side, the fluffy white candy started to appear.

Senku stuck a stick inside and made the first-ever cotton candy of the stone age. Miku handed some to Ruri, Kohaku, and Suika. The three girls fawned over how the candy melted in their mouths. Soon everyone was enjoying the sweet delicacy.

While everyone was enjoying the treat Senku's face fell into a serious one. Miku noticed and shoved a cotton candy in his face.

"Cheer up Senku," Miku says smiling.
