Everyone soon went back to the Kingdom of science. It was time to build a man-powered generator. First was pounding copper into sheets and cutting them into circles. Next was smoothing them out with Corundum. Next was coating them in lacquer.

Gen went over to Miku and asked, "Miku you've known Senku the longest. Do you know why he has turned into Anpanman?"

Miku looks over and Senku and realizes he's having an allergic reaction.

Miku sighs and goes over to Senku, "How many times have I told you I can do things involving lacquer?!"

"398 times," Senku says.

"Waah, that's a lot of times," Kohaku says astonished.

Miku pulled Senku away and finished up what he was doing. Soon enough the electric generator was finished.

"Now all we need is two people to turn it," Miku says.

"If we don't synchronize it together it could break and all come apart," Chrome comments.

"Yeah. If only there were a duo with a lot of stamina and physical skill and also totally in tune with each over," Senku says.

All of them get the same idea and look over at the two brothers guarding the bridge.

"Wow oh wow! Electricity really is amazing isn't it Senku! A scientific civilization in our world of sorcery. There were all kinds of devices that run on electricity!" Gen exclaimed.

Miku caught on to what he was trying to do, "That's right Gen, with the help of electricity things like gold or silver spears would be no problem to make or repair."

Senku looked at the two annoyed, "Miku what are you two doing?"

Miku gives him a smirk and points at the two brothers. In minutes said brothers were turning the wheels on the generator.

"As expected of brothers, they're perfectly in sync," Kohaku comments.

"Kukuku Kinrou and Ginrou acquired!! And now we've built up a pretty good line-up for the kingdom of science!!" Senku says with a devious face.

"Can that thing really make electricity?" Gen asks.

Senku looks over at Miku and gives her a nod. Miku hands Senku a bamboo fiber that she roasted. The two head towards the storehouse and climb up a ladder to the very top, with Chrome following them of course.

"Do we need a high place?" Kohaku asks.

"Not really but it'll be really cool to see it from up here. Besides we already went through the trouble of making it," Miku says excitedly.

'Making what?' Gen questioned. He then noticed what Senku was doing and said, "I see! That's Edison's... Edison's light bulb! Made from Japanese bamboo."

"Chrome are you afraid of the night?" Senku asked.

"Yeah... It just so pitch dark. Why ask now?" Chrome asks.

"In our own time, there is no darkness. Light bulbs erased night from the world. With old man Edison's incandescent light bulb we claimed all 24 hours of the day for our own," Senku says while putting together two wires and making a beacon of light.

However, the two brothers soon got tired and had to take a break. Senku and Miku stayed on the roof while Chrome went back to the ground. Senku started to think back when he first got interested in science. How he read about Edison and how he learned more about electricity.
