P.O.V Harley

Damiar stepped in the direction of Jake and grabbed him harshly by the collar of his shirt and dragged him away.

Everyone moved out of Damiar ways as he dragged Jake by his collar. Caleb followed them. After a everyone had looked at each other repeatedly, Caleb walked back out and walked right up to me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to follow him.

"Caleb" I whined as he yanked on my arm.

"We have to leave" He mutter as he opened the front door. Still holding a tight grip on my arm, he stopped to grab keys

"Taking your car Eric!" He yelled out when he picked up the keys.

"Got it" Eric yelled back

He yanked my arm pushing me to the passenger door "get in" he mumbled unlocking the door

I got in the car, and put on my seatbelt. Caleb also got in putting on his. He started the car reversed out the driveway, I looked down at my lap,

"Caleb what's going on" I asked scared

"I don't know" he looked over to me as we went down the road. He sighed "just taking a precaution"

"Why?" I asked

"I...I overheard Damiar....." I don't think he could finish the sentence.

Then he hit the wheel. "For fuck sake" he gritted his teeth.

Well shit he's pissed

"What did you overhear Caleb" I asked looking directly at him.

"Damiar thinks that Jake is a against us,.... Harley" he sighed again he looked over to me "but I'm not sure I just over heard it"

"Well then shit"

Caleb laughed, I did too,

"What" I asked

"That's your response for everything" he said while laughing

"It's better then my reality right now" I mumble

Caleb nodded and put some music on.

"Better now" he asked

"Yeah, sure, but Caleb"

"Hmm"

"Where are we going?"

"To a park" he said as he pulled up to a park a little while away from the house.

We both got out of the car and headed towards a very empty park.

"And What are we supposed to do here?" I asked Caleb, outing my hands on my hips

"Really!?" He said as he went over to the playground and started to climb the equipment. When he reach the top he waved down to me

"Way to keep a low profile" I shouted to him

"Come on up" he whine playfully

"Fine" I said as he went down the slide and ran over to me kicking up sand everywhere,

"I'll race ya" he shouted shooting up the the playground

I went up the ladder heaving myself to the top then racing across the metal floor to the slide then climbing one more level to the next slide near a pole. Caleb came around a corner

"Beat ya" I huffed out to him

"Not yet" he yelled as he filling himself on the pole next to me and went to the ground

I went down the slide to follow him he ran for the swings and sat down on one I raced after him and sat in the one next to him

"I win" he huffed

"You cheated" I whined

"I still won"

We swung on the swing for a while until Caleb phone vibrated in his pocket

"It's Damiar" he got off the swings and answered it

"I took her to a park"

Pause

"Ok we'll be back soon, yea bye" he put his phone back in his pocket

"Damiar wants us back"

"Awww" I said as I got up and followed Caleb to the car.

As we started to head back to the house I looked out the window of the car.

"Caleb" I mutter in the silent car

"Harley" He muttered back

"I want to go home" I sighed and looked at him.

He gave me his hand to hold, I took it he squeezed my hand, "I know Harley. I know,"

I sighed holding his hand felt comforting to me,

"Are we friends Harley"

I was taken aback "I guess so"

"You don't sound sure of yourself"

"Well considering the circumstances, I guess we are probably very unlikely friends, like we shouldn't be but we are" I explained

"So you're saying we are friends" he asked

"Yes" I said

We pulled back up to the house and got out of the car. I didn't even realise that we were holding hands right up to getting out of the car.
I walked up to him once we were out of the car

"Thank you Caleb" I mumble to him

He lightly brushed my hand "no worries" he whispered back.

Then we went inside.

Damiar came up to us

"What's happening?" I asked him

He chuckled "nothing bad"

I nodded softly and sighed hanging my head

"Why don't you go to your room for a sec" Damiar said lifting my head with his finger

"Alright" I said shrugging my shoulders and walking to my room.

I went in and flopped on my bed, I waited there but Damiar didn't came so I fell asleep in my bed.

Thinking about home.
