Chapter 26

P.O.V Damiar

Jake's hands turned into tight fist "we could kill you and take them both" he yelled

I looked at him "we should've just done that" I mutter to him.

"Then do that" Jake said through gritted teeth.

They slammed the door of the vans

"If you try anything they'll both die" one of them shouted as the rest pointed their guns at the van.

Ok ok ok ok....okay

I took a step forward they all pointed their guns at me.

"Stop it we will shoot" the man shouted

I took another step. And another

"Halt!!" He shouted again

I didn't stop I took another step

I heard the distinctive sound of a gun clicking, I waited one second and stop dropped and rolled to my side. Then the sound of guns firing filled the air. I looked back the van and Jake who was up closer to the men shooting them. I pulled out my own gun and shot the men around the van.

Once they were down we ran to the van. Jake was slowed down. Red was pouring down his side.

"Fuck" I mumbled

He got shot

"Get harley And Caleb" he yelled to me. He fell to the ground holding his side and groaning. I pulled the doors open.

"Damiar!" Harley shouted she had Caleb's head on her lap.

"Is he ok?" I asked

"He is barley conscience" she muttered

I pulled on his arm "get the fuck up Caleb!" I shouted. Harley jumped out and Caleb followed her eyes barley open and he wasn't walking straight. But it was enough for now.

We ran towards our car across the lot. And stop to grab Jake

"Jake!" Harley shouted she fell down beside him. "Can you stand up" she had a hand on his side,

Then more cars came speeding to us, all of them were black.

"shit!" Harley shouted she stood up and yanked on Jake arm to pulled him up. He stood up and put is arm around her shoulder. I had Caleb who was getting more conscious. We just made it to the car Harley threw Jake in the back and I shoved Caleb in after him.

"Get in the car Damiar" Harley shouted.

The cars stopped and men in black jumped out with guns and ran up to us, I started the car, and guns started firing, the car was getting hit as I drove off.

Harley was sitting in the front with me and Caleb and Jake in the back. Caleb was awake and functional now.

"What the fuck" he rubbed his head as the firing guns were getting, harder and harder to hear, but car speeding up behind us.

"Put this on his side" Harley, was holding a cloth and gave it to Caleb

Jake was groaning, and still bleeding

Harley sat back in her seat, "he need to go to the hospital," she sighed

I sighed and gripped the wheel, we were still being chased, i speeded along the road.

"We cant" I said to her

"He's gonna die if we don't" she pleaded and her eyes looked watery,

"Man we have too" Caleb said whilst holding a bloody towel to jake's side as he groaned,

"How do we do that without getting caught, we can't just leave him at the door step and ring the bell" I shouted getting frustrated,

"I don't know let's just go to a hospital" Harley shouted back

At the hospital

We lost the other cars, but we didn't know for how long.

Harley jumped out of the car into the hospital, as me and Caleb picked up Jake's almost lifeless body and head towards the entrance. Harley runs back out followed by two men in uniforms pushing a stretcher

They take his body from us and place it on the stretcher then back in the building.

We all had blood on our hands, Caleb face had blood all from his nose, all dried up our shirts were cover in it to.

"We should go" Caleb said

Harley took one last look at the doors of the hospital where Jake entered, she sighed then turned around and walked to the car,

"Will he be okay?" She asked

"Hopefully" I replied

"Where are we gonna go?"

"Anywhere but here" I mutter getting back into the drivers seat starting up the car.

Time skip - the next morning

We pulled over as the night took over then, We got back on the road. A highway to be more specific, heading to an airport. As Caleb suggested.

"And where about are we going?" Harley asked

"Back to Australia" Caleb shrugged his shoulders

"Really" Harley asked hopefully.

I looked back to Caleb, with an 'are you bloodly serious' look

"Oh come on, we could pull it off I mean Andrew in the hospital and peter won't think we go backwards" Caleb added

"I could see my family" Harley added

I opened my mouth but then closed it as going back may not be such a bad idea. I looked in the rear view mirror,

"We are going back then" I said

Harley leap up from the backseat to me and hugged me from behind "thank you Damiar"

She sat back down beside Caleb and smiled happily.

When we finally arrived at the airport, the same private plane was there, we boarded it and we all used the bathroom as we were all still covered in blood from Jake. We changed and relaxed. Caleb informed the pilot on where we wanting to go.

Harley and I sat together in the back and Caleb was not that far away from us. But far enough.

"So Damiar" Harley said to me "do I get to see my family" she asked in a shy voice

I looked at her and thought about it

"Sure" I said hesitantly

She smiled sadly "this is gonna be hectic"

"They are gonna call the police and you are gonna be questioned. You ready for all that?"

She shook her head "what are we supposed to tell them about my disappearance, it's been at least 4months?"

"It's been 6months Harley"

Her jaw dropped "what am I supposed to tell them anyway"

"We tell them everything about your father and uncle" I told her

"And about you kidnapping me and taking me to America.."

I cut her off "you can leave that out" I chuckled then she chuckled softly as well.

She smiled then rested her head on my shoulder, I leaned against her and that's how we fell asleep.
