It was few miles outside Whiterun city. Mhara gave Rayan constant and excessive looks of boredem.
"So are we there yet?" Mhara asked in a humorous voice as if mocking a small child.
"Are you joking with me right now?" Rayan said with a look of shock on his face.
Mhara turned red as an apple from laughing so hard after she saw his face.
"Yes I am." Mhara said after she took a breath. "So what are you going to do when we get to Riften?"
"See Victoria, show her how much I missed her." Rayan said with a dreamy smile. It had been almost a year since he had seen her.
"Oh I bet."
"What about you Mhara?"
"I don't know. If I can join Victoria or the others on jobs hell can't even do it on my own then I guess I'll do some scouting for the guild." She said.
"Pardon my asking miss" Said the wagon driver. "But what guild are you talking about."
Mhara turned around and looked at the driver. "Perfect opportunity, before I answer that, how much do you make as a basic wagon driver?"
"Well miss." Said the wagon driver. "This gentlemen here paid me 250 gold."
"Well then, the guild I represent would triple that, and mabye if this wagon ride goes well you might be able to be apart of it, but no more questions about our guild please." Mhara said to the driver.
"Ok miss, I apologize."
"No there is no need to apologize. You asked, I answered. I couldn't answer is specifics but when we get to our destination you might get your answer." Mhara said in a prideful tone as she turned and smiled at Rayan. "How was that?" She said continuing to smile.
"Cryptic and mysterious." Rayan said as he looked at the road in front of him.
"I try to be." She said.
The wagon drove passed River and entered Falkreaths borders just moving past the remains of Helgen. Mhara looked over with fear and curiosity, she looked at Rayan who caught her gaze before she quickly broke it by looking back at the ruins of the town again.
"You ever fight a dragon before?" She asked as she looked back at Rayan.
"No." He answered in a quick sharp tone.
"You ever seen a dragon?"
"Yes."
"Care to elaborate?"
"I saw the dragon that destroyed Helgen from a distance when Master Durak and I were heading from Falkreath to Windhelm. The corpses were charred to a crisp and there were no survivors by the time I got there." Rayan said in a grim tone.
"I wouldn't even know what to do in that situation." Mhara said.
"Neither did I, I guess it would be a moment you let instinct take over."
"Yeah, I suppose you do in that situation."
The wagon made its way past Iverstead and all they needed to do now was go through the forest, the same forest where Rayan first met Victoria. The wagon continued, and through the light fog they could see the silhouette of the city.
"What are you going to do when you see Victoria, Mhara?" Rayan asked.
"Most likely tell her about the good wagon driver here." She responded.
"Ha business at heart." Rayan said with a smile. "I'll let you see Victoria first, so I don't take too much of your precious time when I get to her."
