The three had arrived at a small jetty off the coast near Castle Volkihar.

"Do be careful." Erik said. "There are Thalmor in that fortress."

"I thought the Thalmor were only were confined to the embassy and in Solitude." Rayan said with concern.

"Who are the Thalmor?" Serana asked as she got in the small rowboat followed by Erik.

"Arrogant high elven pricks with their heads so far up their own asses its amazing they havent suffocated yet." Rayan answered. "They started the Great War and most likley they'll start another one as well. Oh and they are the reason why Victoria and the Thieves Guild are having problems as well."

"Besides the Thieves Guild the others dont mean anything to me." Serana said.

"I'll tell you that story later Serana." Erik said. "But just know they are no friend to nords and the like."

Rayan entered the rowboat and picked up the oars.

"So where to?" Rayan asked.

Serana pointed to a large thick fog.

"There." She said.

Rayan started rowing.

It was an quiet, only thing that was heard was the water splashing against the boat.

"Im guessing you never took contracts from them, Rayan?" Serana asked.

"No." Rayan answered. "They are the type to do everything themselves."

Serana nodded her head in understanding.

The fog started to thin as they reached the island and there was an outline of something standing near the coast.

"Shit someone's there." Rayan said retracting the oars.

"Yes someone is there." The figure said as he walked forward.

The figure passed through the fog revealing Arkinwrath waving with one hand and a lit pipe in the other.

"May I asked what are you doing here?" Arkinwrath asked.

"Helping Serana." Rayan answered being as vague as possible.

"A yes, the monster hunter not trusting a the monster, yet he rowed a boat with a monster." Arkinwrath said making Serana fluster.

The three exited the boat. Serana went and gave Arkinwrath a hug while Rayan and Erik pulled in the rowboat.

Rayan took a good long look at the castle. It was a massive fortress built in the large rocky island.

The pleasantries subsided and Serana lead the way to a side entrance.

Rayan followed behind Serana with Erik behind him and Arkinwrath in the back.

They walked down the coastline and Rayan had to stop and look up.

"The castle looks so big from up here." Serana said as she looked up as well. "I mean it is big but, well, bigger from down here."

"Yeah it is." Rayan said still awestruck by the size of the castle.

"Come on lets keep going." Serana said as she started walking again.

The rest followed as they reach the side entrance. It was a small port with a wrecked ship and some broken rowboats. The entire entrance was guarded by several armored skeletons and dragur.

Rayan drew his sword and moved along the wall. He saw Arkinwraths bats fly across the dock before a skeleton swung a sword at him.

Rayan dodged and slashed the skeleton. In one hit the skeleton shattered and fell apart.
