Two weeks had passed since Mallory had finally gotten all her soldiers from both her search for those she fought next to and the one hand picked by General Tullius.
The sun was barely rising when they were all lined up in a clean order something that she wasn't used to as neither her nor her former stormcloaks were extremely organized. Mallory had her men in lined in front while she had her 'commanders' or their official title as Tribune of the six individuals she found across Skyrim.
"LOOK LEFT!" She ordered as the entire line of soldiers looked to their left.
"LOOK RIGHT!" The Commander ordered again as the line then looked to their right.
"THESE ARE YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS NOW." She said as she then turned to the people standing behind her. "YOU WILL ANSWER TO THEM, THEN ANSWER TO ME."
Mallory concluded her introductory speech to the future commandos of Skyrims special forces and let her Tribunes make their introductions, letting them know what each group will be doing.
Her and Bumba would be the fighting and combat instructors, Lisse would teach scouting and survival. Tor, as odd as he was, would show the recruits how to build and operate siege equipment.
Rolman, an old nord friend of Mallorys who she found drunk outside the gates to Whiterun would be the instructor on infiltration and basic magics, which on occasion he would literally play with sometimes. He was around her age and would be the one to scale fortress walls and open the gates for them, he was short for a nord and very thin which helped him in flexibility and agile abilities yet for his weapon of choice was a large great sword.
Then finally there was Sappsa a young nord graduate of the College of Winterhold in advanced healing who then apprenticed under Danica Pure-Spring in Whiterun for a year. After she left she began her life as a medic in the imperial army never seeing any combat or war, just what happens after. She was there to teach basic healing be it spells or other.
When the Tribunes were finished, all the groups split into their respective companies and moved over to the one they were to learn from at that time.
Each morning Mallorys group was to spar in the Castle Dour yard for a few weeks then they would move to a different location either, in a new hold or area within the city. For now she wanted them to learn on a flat steady ground then in grassy and muddy, then they were to learn in the snow. But for now they were to stay in Solitude until the special forces armor was forged and ready.
She did focus that each commando would have to be reliable for themselves she also had to make sure everyone worked well together as a unit.
Since they were to be better than regular imperial army soldiers Mallory pushed hard when it came to fighting. She had each one pair up and spar while her and Bumba would walk around looking and measuring each recruit. The first group was mainly sword, shields, and axes with only a few who used spears and others weapons.
Half the day went by as Mallory and the others trained before it was time to take a break and roam the city for a while as only Sappsa knew her way around. The first thing Mallory found was the as the first building to see when someone walks through the gate. She never had a good look at the building until now because the first time she had ever gotten a look at the capital of Skyrim was though a thin, canvas bag that was over her head as she was being escorted to the imperial prison after being traded all those years ago.
Some of the anger and hatred had carried itself with her all those years but slowly waned into a sour bitterness that Mallory buried when she became commander again.
In front of the inn was a pushed back section of the city wall that was made into what looked like a stage. She walked over to it to see the stage had a singular block in the middle, a grindstone, a noose, and scorch marks everywhere. An execution stage is what it was, where crowds would gather to watch people die.
