Victoria was laying in her bed, passed out, taking full advantage of finally having some time to herself.
The past week for her had been nothing but constant non-stop working and thieving.

After Mhara healed they went back to Riften only to have Brynjolf immediately send Victoria to Solitude after she had shown him a letter that she found at Honningbrew Meadery. But before she left Delvin and Vex gave her several jobs to complete while she was there.
Victoria had to deal with a hellishly stubborn argonian who gave her piss poor information. After he resisted her persuasion then threats she gave into his bribe of wanting a crate of spiced wine from the Blue Palace. Luckily for her the crate was light and the Jarl was dealing with her court.
After, the argonian gave her piss information and Victoria ended up following him through several questionable places. One of them was the East Empire Company warehouse that had a smugglers den.
The argonian seemed to have warned the smugglers that she'd be following him. Despite her skills at stealth Victoria was almost spotted several times. At the end Victoria corned the argonian who then called out to several bandits nearby.
With the bandits dead and Victoria having a collection of cuts, scrapes, and bruises. She finally got the argonian to talk.
All she got from him was a name she didn't know: Karliah.
Despite her small injuries Victoria finished the jobs she was given then immediately rode back to Riften without stopping. Nearly exhausting herself and her horse.
She told Delvin and Vex of her success, then told Brynjolf, then took off her armor and sword, and fell into her bed finally getting some proper rest.

She dreamed of a large snow covered field. Her and Rayan were sitting on a bench, his arm was around her as he was talking but she couldn't hear his voice, only his arm around her as he held her close as she rested her head on him and watched the snow.
The dream ended when she was shaken awake. When Victoria opened her eyes she saw Garthar looking her over with a slight smile picking itself across his face.
"Not even in your dreams." Victoria growled.
"Sadly." He said. "Mharas looking for you."
"Oh good." She said sarcastically in a grumble.
She sat up and stretched, then put on her armor and sword and went to find Mhara.
She was in the training room sitting on a ledge eating an apple and watching Vipir and Sapphire spar.
"Good, you're finally awake." Mhara said as she tossed her apple to Victoria and hopped down from the ledge. "And about damn time too."
Victoria took a bite of the apple and handed it back to Mhara. "Did you really send that pervert to wake me up?"
"Oh, thats why you don't like him. Yep, and besides you needed to get up you were in bed all day yesterday." Mhara said. "So lets get some food in you."
Food did sound nice to Victoria and she was hungry so she took the offer.
Instead of Mhara going over to the Ragged Flagon she headed for the stairs leading to the top.
Victoria reached the top to see Mhara standing there with her arms crossed.
"So what did you do to piss off Mercer?" Mhara asked. "Didn't suck his cock properly?" She laughed. "No I got a better one. Did you finally botch a job?" She said still laughing as she started walking towards the inn.
